IrieCBD Review

IrieCBD has been a leader in the industry for several years now — it’s no surprise the company is now one of the most popular CBD brands in North America

While there are a few issues with some of IrieCBD’s products we have trouble looking past, the majority of its products are top-notch products.

By far, our favorite series from IrieCBD is the CBD oil tinctures — which come pre-formulated with a variety of different herbs that help direct the effects of the CBD for a specific application. The Pain tincture comes with the potent anti-inflammatory herb devil’s claw, balance comes with peppermint & lavender, Balance comes with ashwagandha (and others), and Lifeline comes with a handful of potent antiviral and antibacterial herbs.

You can also find CBD oils specifically designed for female reproductive health, daily use, and for cats and dogs.

Overall, IrieCBD is one of our favorite CBD brands with a solid arsenal of high-quality CBD products.

Mission / Charity 5/5

IrieCBD’s mission statement is both admirable and commendable, especially for wanting to bring high-quality CBD that’s geared towards the betterment of its customers and to be sustainable to the planet.

The company is also very good at giving back – it has a 2:1 Giving Program that gives one product back to the community for every two that’s bought, as well as having a scholarship for lower-income customers and a 15% military veterans discount.

Hemp Source 4/5

IrieCBD sources its hemp from organic farms in North America (not certified), and tests each batch for purity and safety. All tests are posted publically on the company’s website.

Product Range 4/5

IrieCBD has a decent product range with several different product types. They offer CBD topicals (for pain and cosmetics), CBD tinctures (for various different applications), and a pet oil.

While the company used to sell CBD capsules, they have since been taken off the website.

Overall, you’re going to have a good array of options to choose from unless you’re after e-liquids, or some of the more niche product types.

Innovation 5/5

We have to give IrieCBD credit for some of the innovative products the company is selling. For example, we’ve never seen a CBD tincture made with devil’s claw, cat’s claw, dragons blood, or various other powerful herbs the company includes in its products.

This is an excellent move by IrieCBD and something we see as innovative in a space where the majority of CBD companies just stick to very basic formulas for its CBD oil.

Safety 5/5

IrieCBD follows all the standard protocol for safety — it posts lab tests for each batch publically (checking for potency, heavy metals, pesticides, solvents, and microbial contamination), and provides clear, well-cited blog articles on how to use its products.

The company also avoids making unrealistic health claims or false advertising.

Full points in this category for IrieCBD!

Customer Service 5/5

We had to reach out to the company a few times for additional information and to test the return process for IrieCBD products and found nothing wrong with the process. The website uses a handy conversation window to get in touch with staff members quickly, as well as email and phone connections.

Overall the customer service team was genuinely helpful and answered all of our questions.

IrieCBD Company Review

Article By
Editorial Staff , last updated on November 19, 2020

About the Company: IrieCBD

IrieCBD was founded by Trevor Hill, Karen Lane, and Rick Potts in San Diego, California in 2015, offering a “unique and specialized line of tinctures” until 2017 when the company went through a total rebranding and product line expansion – this was to give the company a whole new look after a year of exponential sales growth.

Following the success of IrieCBD, Freedom Leaf, a “clean” healthcare company with dealings in the CBD market, signed a definitive asset purchase agreement in 2018 to purchase IrieCBD’s assets, trademarks, formulating equipment, formulas, and products.

In an audio interview by Stock Today Media, CEO of Freedom Leaf, Clifford Perry, stated he would keep on Rick Potts as a master formulator due to his background in being a chiropractic physician with a degree in dietary supplementation and formulation.

As of 2019, all of IrieCBD’s manufacturing and fulfillment services were transferred from Oakland, CA to a Dallas, TX facility.

The company also claims to be “a socially conscious company” and “was founded on a belief that CBD should be available to all, not just those who can afford it”.

What Does IrieCBD Do Well?

1. 2:1 Giving Program

IrieCBD’s generous 2:1 Giving Program, where the company donates one product for every two that are sold, is impressive and something we can definitely get behind. It’s always great to see a company taking the initiative and giving back to those who need it most.

2. Suitable for Beginners

IrieCBD’s products have low enough strengths for beginners. All of its tinctures start at a beginner-friendly 250 mg and its capsules start at a low-medium strength of 300 mg – however, if you’re looking for something a little stronger, you can try the oils in a 500 mg option.

IrieCBD’s Shipping & Return Policy

IrieCBD has two separate pages for its Shipping Policy and Refund Policy, both of which offer a fair amount of information on your order(s), shipping, and returns.

The company ships orders using USPS domestically to all US states and territories including Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Alaska. International shipping is also available and will incur additional shipping charges above normal domestic shipping — it’s worth making sure you know your country’s CBD laws before purchasing.

Domestic shipping generally takes 3-5 business days. International shipping can take anywhere between 10-14 depending on your country of residence. Orders placed before 1pm Pacific Time will be shipped the next working day.

The company has a 30-day money-back guarantee if you’re not fully satisfied with your product.

IrieCBD is one of the most popular brands we’ve reviewed. They’ve been around since 2014 which makes them one of. the oldest CBD companies in the business (most only popped up within the last 2 years).

The company offers a broad range of products to choose from— covering categories like topical pain-relief, cosmetics, pet products, and CBD tinctures with custom formulas depending on what you intend on using CBD for.

This latter category is what we find most impressive about IrieCBD. They offer several formulas made with other powerful herbs to make the overall effects of the CBD oil even more effective. Herbs like devil’s claw, cat’s claw, turmeric, lavender, mucuna, and more make these tinctures exceptionally potent for their intended use.

Overall, we highly recommend IrieCBD as a go-to source for CBD products.
