CBDfx is one of the larger companies in the CBD space.
The company produces a wide variety of different products, covering all major categories — CBD oils, gummies, pet products, topicals, and vape oils and pens. Although the pricepoint of CBDfx product is higher than other large CBD companies in the space (like Medterra or cbdMD), the company’s products are on par with some of the top performers in the industry.
We thoroughly enjoy CBDfx products and recommend quite a few of them for different categories. Read on to view this company’s product line in-depth and see how they stack up to the competition.

Mission / Charity4/5
According to the CBDfx website, its goal is to provide the remarkable benefits of CBD to the world by having the widest selection of high-quality, organic hemp products, which is a very admirable mission statement, albeit slightly generic.
It’s not clear whether CBDfx donates regularly to any particular charity or cause either; however, the company does offer a 20% military and first responder discount.
CBDfx’s hemp source information is frustratingly limited and a little bit confusing. The company claims that its hemp is sourced from two separate locations. Find out later in this review where the company actually sources its hemp.
CBDfx has one of the larger selections for CBD products on the market.
The company offers several different product categories ranging from CBD capsules, gummies, and tinctures to pet oils, e-liquids, and face masks, each with numerous strengths and flavors.
CBDfx’s aren’t doing anything revolutionary with its products, but there are some rare finds here and there – the flavors in its vape juices are especially unique.
However, there’s very little here that truly defines the company as innovative. Instead, the company focuses on strong attention to detail.
CBDfx has information regarding how to use its products safely and provides lot of information regarding CBD in general, mainly through its well-researched blog articles in its CBD Knowledge Hub, which is currently under maintenance.
Each batch of product is comprehensively third-party tested for quality reassurance.
CBDfx welcomes you to contact them by phone or email if you have any questions or concerns. The company offers a 30-day return policy and a 1-year warranty for all products, as well as has free shipping to any United States addresses.
Our experience with customer service reps from this company was excellent — they were fast, professional, and answered our questions to the best of their ability.
CBDfx is one of the older players in the CBD industry and has built up an impressive arsenal of products since 2012. The company is based in the sunny neighborhood of Chatsworth, California, overlooked by co-founder Ali Esmaili and his dedicated team.
CBDfx is one of the few companies that place just as much importance on education as it does on its products – the website is full of useful information regarding CBD and the developments in the industry including blog posts, CBD recipes, and a general CBD FAQ page.
CBDfx claims that it’s “proud to offer the highest quality full-spectrum, broad-spectrum, and isolate CBD products on the market”. The company also claims to prioritize the need to provide its customers with “access to pure CBD that was carefully formulated using only the best ingredients available”
Furthermore, in a recent interview with online business publication Superb Crew, Tim (last name undisclosed) from CBDfx’s marketing stated:
“Unlike other companies who might slap together a couple of questionably-made CBD vape juices and call it a day, it’s a core part of the CBDfx philosophy to offer a diverse product offering. We’ve been first to market with some really innovative CBD products including a premium face serum called Rejuvediol, nourishing CBD face masks, CBD muscle balm, and more”
Based primarily on the company’s commitment to producing safe, high-quality products, as well as spearheading some successful innovative ideas and injecting them into the CBD market, CBDfx has established itself as a legitimate CBD company.
CBDfx’s About Us claims its hemp is “always derived from wholly organic hemp plants and extracted in Southern California labs” under “rigorous standards of manufacturing excellence”. However, the company also states in this blog post that its CBD oil comes from Kentucky-grown hemp, which caused us some confusion.
After speaking to a customer service agent using the live chat function, he/she confirmed that its hemp is sourced strictly from Kentucky.
CBDfx has 100% vegan tinctures available in 500, 1000, 2000, 4000, and 6000 mgstrength bottles. These full-spectrum CBD extract tinctures feature two special terpenes: CBN and CBG.
The range of strengths mentioned above caters to both beginners and seasoned CBD users alike. If you’re looking to transition between strengths, you can buy a two-pack of 500 mg and 1000 mg bottles or a two-pack of 1000 mg and 2000 mg bottles.
Whether you’re brand new to CBD or have been taking the cannabinoid for years — or whether you have mild, moderate, or severe symptoms — CBDfx should have something to suit your needs. Additionally, all the tinctures are tested by a third-party lab, so you can be sure you’re getting a high-quality product.
CBDfx has three different types of CBD gummy: Gummies with Turmeric & Spirulina, Gummy Bears (berry flavored), and Melatonin Gummies – each gummy is made from non-GMO, vegan ingredients with no corn syrup or artificial sweetners.
The Turmeric & Spirulina and the berry flavored Gummy Bears come in 40 mg and 300 mg options, whereas the Melatonin Gummies come in a 300 mg option only – the 40 mg option comes with eight gummies and the 300 mg option comes with 60 gummies.
The Turmeric & Spirulina product has a particularly interesting formulation. Turmeric, which comes from a flowering plant belonging to the ginger family, has proven antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties known to combat free radicals in the body – the spirulina provides similar antioxidant and anti-inflammatory qualities too.
CBDfx offers CBD capsules in two different strengths: 200 mg and 750 mg.
The 200 mg option comes in a resealable packet and holds 8 capsules, whereas the 750 mg option comes in a large jar and contains 30 capsules – each capsule contains 25 mg of CBD.
These capsules fall in the middle of the potency scale and are suitable for most CBD users, though it’s worth pointing out that if you require a much stronger dose you’re better off looking into the company’s tinctures if you’re willing to step away from capsules altogether.
CBDfx claims that “CBD is perfectly safe for your pets to consume in the same way that it is safe for consumption” – this is down to all vertebrates and invertebrates having what’s known as an endocannabinoid system that interacts with the cannabinoids found in CBD products.
The company bases its dosage recommendation on the weight of your animal and not on how the animal reacts or behaves – this is primarily down to some behaviors after CBD intake being too subtle to notice and draw conclusions from.
There are has four different CBD oils for your pets, with varying strengths for animals of different weights and sizes, as listed below.
This product is packed full of additional terpenes that the company claims are “powerhouse ingredients”, which gives CBDfx’s CBD Terpene Oil its antioxidant quality.
The range is comprised of four distinct flavors, each with 250 and 500 mg strength bottles at a fairly high price of $49.99 and $69.99, respectively – this breaks down to roughly $0.28 and $0.18 per mg of CBD.
Similar to the CBD Terpene Oil (just contained within a vape pen), this product contains a short, sharp 50 mg of CBD per pen with additional natural hemp terpenes thrown into the mix.
These products can be purchased as a single product with no bulk bundles to choose from – if you’re looking for to purchase multiple vape pens in bulk and don’t mind having not having additional terpenes mixed in, the company also offers standard CBD vape pens in bulk listed further down below.
If you’re looking for a broad-spectrum CBD vape pen with a full range of cannabinoids minus the THC, CBDfx’s range has you perfectly covered.
The company offers six different flavors, which include Strawberry Lemonade, Honeydew Ice, Melon Cooler, Fresh Mint, Tropic Breeze, and Blue Raspberry – the flavors highlighted in bold give you the choice to bulk buy in 12-packs.
Single pens are priced reasonably at $14.99, but it’s worth spending extra for a bulk purchase in the long run.
CBDfx has a huge arsenal of flavored CBD vape juices for those with a sweet tooth and a keenness for tasting flavorful, fruity CBD e-liquids made using organic ingredients.
The current roster of flavors includes Blue Raspberry, Strawberry Kiwi, Strawberry Milk, Spearmint, and Wild Watermelon, which are all available in 500, 1000, and 2000 mg strengths in 30 or 60 mL bottles.
For the price, though slightly higher than other e-liquids on the market, these products are a very decent addition to your own CBD collection and offer varying potencies for both beginner and seasoned CBD users.
CBDfx recently partnered with ANML Alchemy in a combined effort to produce products that provide “the highest quality industrial hemp that is tested for purity” for people to “enjoy the amazing experience of CBD alongside the best tasting and highest quality e-liquid flavors available on the market”.
CBDfx’s CBD Additives are mainly used as a booster for your chosen e-liquid, but can also be used as an oral tincture as well due to its food-grade ingredients.
We recommend mixing this additive in a 50 mL bottle of flavored high vegetable glycerin e-liquid containing little to no nicotine content – once you’ve done this, shake the bottle well and leave it to sit for approximately ten minutes before use.
CBDfx has engineered its CBD Vape Kit with an “industry-leading ceramic glass/steel cartridges and a temperature setting optimized for CBD oil” – the optimal temperature for vaping CBD oil ranging between 175 – 210°C.
Lower and higher vape temperatures usually produce different results. Cannabinoids, generally, evaporate better at higher temperatures, which allows you to inhale a higher percentage of them into your body. However, if the temperature gets too hot, it can annihilate essential terpenes and cannabinoids present in the oil.
CBDfx has also provided vape kit bundles with its CBD vape juices, starting at $71.98 for an additional 500 mg of CBD vape juice option.
CBDfx describes its topical cream products as “pharmacist formulated” with “a combination of high-quality CO2 extracted CBD, white willow bark extract and caffeine” – the CBD extract is broad-spectrum and contains no THC.
The price point is quite high for a skincare product, but the markup is to be expected for a product containing broad-spectrum CBD extract in a 30 mL – you can find products that are slightly cheaper on the market.
Each of CBDfx’s balms includes a different set of ingredients centered around shea butter, a beneficial fat extracted from the nuts African shea trees – shea butter is very frequently utilized in the cosmetic industry and is known to contain antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
The company’s CBD Muscle Balm, for instance, is comprised of the peppermint, camphor, and wintergreen oil’s cooling properties to soothe inflammation, sprains, and muscular pain.
At just shy of $40, these products are reasonably priced simply for the natural oils contained within them – we’ve seen other more expensive products on the market that aren’t as well put together or varied as these. The potency, however, isn’t much to write home about.
CBD face masks, in our experience, come across as gimmicky and should be treated as a fun experiment as opposed to a legitimate CBD skincare product, especially when they’re at a lower price point of $6.99.
However, that being said, the inclusion of aloe vera in one of the varieties is a decent choice if you’re looking for a healing anti-inflammatory face mask. Aloe vera contains 75 potentially active constituents, which include vitamin A, C, and E, as well as minerals such as calcium, all of which provide anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits .
Released only recently, CBDfx’s Rejuvediol™ range has garnered a fair amount of attention.
The idea behind this range is to provide customers with organic, hand-picked ingredients suitable for skin nourishment and healing.
In a press release published by PRNewswire, the company believes the Rejuvediol™ CBD Oil Face Serum, specifically, is “beauty dedicated to nature and simplicity” by combining 22 hand-selected and carefully curated oils, extracts, and botanicals.
Concentrates are some of the purest and cleanest forms of CBD on the market and are designed to be dabbed or vaped to deliver a powerful dose of CBD – they can also be taken orally if you prefer not to inhale any substances.
CBDfx’s CBD Raw Wax is the only concentrate product it stocks and provides users with a relatively low dose of 30% CBD – other products on the market boast 60 to 90% CBD potencies.
If you’re looking for a lower potency wax product to either vape, dab, or ingest orally, CBDfx’s is a decent option; however, if you’re looking for something stronger, it might be worth looking elsewhere.
If you’re short on change, looking to grab yourself a generous bargain, or looking to mix and match your CBD regimen, look no further than CBDfx’s bundles.
Each bundle comes with a select number of different products, with some designed for a specific purpose. The Topical Bundle, for instance, is comprised of the Calming CBD Balm and the CBD Cream to double-up on your skincare regimen.
The CBD Snooze Set is comprised of the CBD Melatonin Gummies, the Lavender Night Time Face Mask, and the Overnight Recovery Balm to get a powerful trio of nighttime CBD.

Sometimes when a company like CBDfx has a massive selection of products it can be overwhelming and confusing, especially for first-time or casual buyers. However, having a bigger selection of products can be beneficial, particularly for purchasing multiple items all in one go without having to order from other companies.
The company’s website layout is geared towards simplicity, which makes navigating between each product line easy.
2. Collaboration with Other Companies
It’s always interesting when CBD companies take the initiative and collaborate with each other companies to produce new products. As mentioned previously, CBDfx teamed up with ANML Alchemy to create a range of well-crafted CBD e-liquids in various flavors and strengths in an effort to produce the highest quality products for your vape kit.
We believe it’s vital for a company to makes its hemp source clearly visible to the general public, especially for those who are looking at purchasing CBD products. A defined hemp source typically shows how much control and oversight a company has over its production – it also shows a willingness to be transparent.
Though the company does list its hemp source, it’s both hard to find and states two separate hemp source locations: Southern California and Kentucky. As stated previously, we spoke to a friendly customer service agent who confirmed Kentucky as the source of hemp.
2. Only One CBD Concentrate Option
Concentrates are incredibly popular amongst CBD users for their purity and incredibly strong potency. CBDfx only stocks one type of concentrate, which contains a 30% potency – this may disappoint more seasoned CBD concentrate users looking for a stronger hit.
We’d like to see CBDfx producing more of these products in the future.
Safety & Third-Party Testing
CBDfx makes sure that all of its products have been tested by a third-party laboratory. These test results are posted proudly under the description of each product and show all of its extracts are free from potentially dangerous materials.
With this, you’ll get peace of mind shopping with CBDfx knowing that you’re not putting any hazardous chemicals into your body.
CBDfx’s Shipping & Returns Policy
CBDfx’s Delivery Policy can be found here and outlines shipping methods and shipping times.
The company offers free shipping on all domestic US orders – this usually takes between 5-10 business days – if you chose a paid shipping service it can take between 1-3 business days depending on your choice.
The company offers international shipping as well.
CBDfx’s Return Policy offers 30 days from the date you placed the order to return your unwanted, unopened product – the product must be unused.
In order for the return to be initiated, you must use the contact us page and submit a return merchandise authorization (RMA) request. If the product is damaged/defective, you may have to show picture evidence before sending the RMA.
If a product is damaged, it must be reported to customer service within 48 hours.
Refunds should take approximately 3 to 10 business days.
Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Final Verdict: CBDfx is an Excellent One-Stop-Shop for CBD
Overall, CBDfx is a great choice for a one-stop-shop for everything CBD. You should expect to pay slightly more compared to other large CBD suppliers but you can be sure you’re getting a high-quality product.
If you need any reassurance about the products on offer, you can simply find and click on any third-party lab report found as a green icon nearer the bottom of the product page.
Beyond the test results, CBDfx stands behind its products. If you’re not satisfied for any reason, they’ll give you your money back within 30-days of receiving your order. A company that strongly stands by its product can be difficult to find in the CBD industry.
We would definitely shop with CBDfx again.
