More importantly, Sensi Seeds has a sister company called HempFlax which has pioneered much of the current technology used in hemp cultivation and manufacturing within Europe.
As such, it has unparalleled expertise when it comes to making premium-quality CBD products, with complete control over the process from seed to bottle. Although the company can improve by providing third-party lab tests and offering more product variations, we highly recommend this company if you live in Europe.
Sensi Seeds’ mission is to advance the cause of cannabis worldwide, both as a medicinal and industrial crop.
The company has done a lot to promote this over its long history, including the supply of cannabis seeds for the Dutch medical system, pioneering technologies for hemp cultivation and manufacturing, opening cannabis museums, and running an annual cannabis award show.

The company sources hemp from the Netherlands, which is harvested using special techniques designed by HempFlax. The hemp is then extracted with supercritical carbon dioxide — the current gold-standard for cannabinoid extraction.
All of Sensi Seeds products are manufactured in the Dutch city of Groningen.
Sensi Seeds sources its hemp from the north-east regions of the Netherlands. This organic hemp is harvested by its sister company HempFlax, dried, and extracted.
However, the company does not provide any certificates to prove that the hemp is organic. We can’t give them too much flack for this at the moment — as it’s extremely difficult to obtain official organic certification for hemp in Europe at the moment. Although, we do hope to see this change in the next few years as it becomes easier to certify hemp.

Despite its amazing reputation, Sensi Seeds does not provide third-party test results anywhere on its website. Considering that this is a baseline requirement for any serious CBD brand, we’re quite puzzled that such an established cannabis company that does so many things right chooses not to make these tests readily available.
We respect that Sensi Seeds chose to stick to only three product CBD product categories, but it would be nice to have more options for flavor and CBD potency. For example, people who find the taste of CBD oil too strong would benefit from a flavored CBD tincture, while those who vape CBD are accustomed to having a variety of flavor options. Similarly, it would be nice to have more options for CBD strength and bottle volume.
Although Sensi Seeds claims to use third-party testing, there are no lab test results on its website, which is a big negative for this company.
Considering the company’s reputation and direct control over every step of the manufacturing process, we’d be surprised if any of its products or ingredients are unsafe or misleading.
Nonetheless, third-party testing provides a layer of safety and trust people have come to expect from CBD brands.

However, it would be nice to have more options for flavors, CBD potency, and volume.
