Organabus Review

Organabus is an American CBD company with a focus on producing quality vapor liquids, but their offerings are rather lackluster in all aspects. The company offers poor insight into their motivations for doing business or where their hemp comes from. This company is very relaxed when it comes to third-party testing, offering a few older samples, but makes little effort to keep these updated or linked to specific batches of their products.

This company suggests its products are organic several times across their website — however, we’re skeptical about these claims. This company does very little to back up any of the claims made on their website — they have no certificates, testing, or virtually any information on what part of their formulas are organic, and to what extent.

Overall, the products from this company are average in quality. We like their pet biscuits and bath bombs but found most of their products to be fairly underwhelming.

Mission/Charity 2/5

Organabus fails to provide any information regarding what the company represents, nor do they provide an indication of the betterment for the hemp community. They preach organic ingredients, and even included a reference to being “organic” in the company name, but offer no proof or further information on this whatsoever.

Hemp Source 1/5

When it comes to where Organabus sources its hemp, no location is provided. It’s likely the company is simply ordering their CBD extracts in bulk from another manufacturer to make their products and thus have no idea where their hemp comes from or what the quality is like.

Product Range 5/5

Organabus’ product catalog consists of 14 different items, and when taking flavor formulations into consideration, brings the overall total of products available for purchase to around 70. This is an incredible amount of options for a CBD company.

Their products also cover virtually all categories of CBD products — including bath bombs, E-liquids, tinctures, and pet products. They even offer some unique offerings like their nasal inhalers.

Innovation 2/5

Although the company offers some unique products in their lineup, this company is doing very little to push the industry forward with their own innovation. In fact, the most innovative products in their lineup — the nasal inhalers — are actually very poorly formulated products and not something we would recommend.

Safety 2/5

As we’ve already mentioned, this company offers virtually no information on the quality of the products they carry. There are no lab tests provided by themselves or independent labs, no information on hemp source, and in some cases, no information on the ingredients used to make their products.

Buying from this company relies on trusting the company has done these checks in the backend — something we’re not prepared to do for any of their internal products like their tinctures or nasal inhalers.

Customer Service 2/5

Organabus returned all of our questions within about 48 hours and were sufficiently helpful — until we asked for their third-party test results. From this, we received no further responses from the company. This set off some red flags for us.

Additionally, their return policy lacks a full explanation and is rather confusing. You can find the details hidden away in their “terms and conditions” pages, rather than in their FAQ — which we found resoundingly unhelpful in the information it provides.

Organabus Company Review

About the Company: Organabus

The name Organabus looks to be a play on the words “organic” and “cannabis”, and although the company logo is of a bus, we’re not entirely sure what the company represents.

Simply put, Organabus is a bad company. An ongoing problem that plagues the company is a complete lack of information, and this problem goes beyond explaining what they represent —but also, who they are, what they do differently, how they do it, and why CBD?

We don’t know much about Organabus and while most companies jump at the opportunity to showcase what they represent, Organabus provides none of this is.

Organabus’ tagline reads “organic CBD made from industrially grown hemp” and we’re told “Organabus products are made with quality organic ingredients” but there are no certifications to back these claims.

With that out of the way, let’s get into the details to see what Organabus is all about.

Where Does Organabus Source Its Hemp?

Organabus fails to mention its hemp source anywhere on the website.

While the company’s tagline suggests the use of organic hemp in their name, the website lacks information as to whether this refers to the hemp or ingredients they use in their manufacturing process. Without any certification provided, we assume that it doesn’t refer to hemp used, which is unfortunate.

We don’t know if Organabus’ hemp is sourced locally and without the provision of full third-party test results, we’re unsure if any of these products are free of contaminants. The company claims to use organic hemp, however, without certifications we don’t know for certain if they’re free of pesticides or herbicides.

From what we’ve observed from the CBD market, companies dedicate sections solely to testing done on their products, regardless of whether they’re conducted in-house or by third-party laboratories.

Comparatively, Organabus’ third-party test results are difficult to find. Hidden away in the FAQs section they’re not clearly labeled. It’s so poorly organized that we found the tests by accident after curiously wondering what the unlabelled link at the top of the section was about.

At the time of this review, there are only eight tests provided — four are for Vapor Liquids (three regular and one terpene infused), three covering Organic CBD Tinctures, while the last one tests the CBD Dab Wax.

While it’s awesome to see third-party test results provided, in this instance, they only cover the cannabinoid profile and potency. No testing for contaminants is provided, which is a point of concern, as this brings the potential of any of their products containing dangerous substances.

Organabus’ specialty lies in creating quality “Organic CBD Vapor Liquid” to “Vape away to a better day” but offers a range of CBD products for varying needs

Here, we’ll detail the fourteen different CBD products Organabus has to offer for sale on their website.

Organabus’ Broad-Spectrum CBD Tinctures are available in two different variations —either 300 or 1000 mg increments— and come in 30 mL bottles.

When it comes to potency levels, Organabus offers either low or high-level options.

We’re not entirely sure why only the 1000 mg option is labeled as “edible” as they’re both in the edible CBD section on the official website. We assume the tinctures are made through the same manufacturing process, as there’s no additional information provided that says otherwise.

Organabus CBD Isolate Tincture

2 / 5

Total CBD: 150 – 750 mg

Cost per mg CBD: $0.08 – $0.09
Extract Type: Broad-spectrum

Organabus offers one option when it comes to purchasing CBD Capsules. You can buy a 6-count capsule pack for $12.99 and a 30-count capsule bottle for $59.99. Both packs contain 25 mg of CBD per capsule.

However, there is conflicting information on the product page, as the product photo and product description both tell different stories, but in this case, we’ll be referring to the product photo.

Organabus Delta 8 Softgel Capsules

3. CBD Edibles

Organabus offers two different options when it comes to edible options — Organabus Gummies, and Organabus SugarStix.

A) Organabus CBD Gummies

CBD Gummies start at $19.99 USD for a container housing six gummies, with each containing 50 mg of CBD.

When it comes to flavors there isn’t much choice in the matter, but this is a great option for those looking for a tasty, yet simplified alternative when it comes to ingesting CBD.

B) Organabus CBD SugarStix

On the other hand, CBD SugarStix are priced at $9.99, for which you’ll receive a sugary tube containing 100 mg of CBD.

There are five different flavor options available and could be a fun alternative when it comes to CBD ingestion, but we see this more like a gimmick instead of a daily health supplement.

*Organabus doesn’t list how many grams are contained in each SugarStix

4. CBD Pet Products

A) Organabus Healthy Doggy Biscuits

Organabus offers one option when it comes to CBD-infused dog treats. Healthy Doggie CBD Dog Biscuits are priced at $29.99, for which you’ll receive twenty, 4 mg biscuits, carrying an overall total of 80 mg of CBD.

Organabus suggests feeding dogs 50 lbs and over one biscuit, with smaller dogs only half a biscuit. Here, the dosage seems off, and although pets require much lower amounts of CBD in order to feel the effects, these are low figures even when it comes to animals.

B) Organabus Pet Hemp Oil

Organabus’ Pet Hemp Oils are priced at $39.99 USD and are housed in 88.7 mL bottles containing 100 mg of CBD.

Unlike the Healthy Doggie CBD Dog Biscuits, these oils aren’t specific for pets. Just like those biscuits, the suggested dosage levels here too are low.

5. Hempbody Collection

Organabus Hempbody Bath Bombs

When it comes to topicals, Organabus offers a variety of CBD bath bombs for those who enjoy taking baths.

Available in three different formulations, Hempbody Bath Bombs are priced at $16.99 USD, and each carries 50 mg of CBD.

Organabus Hempbody CBD Pain Relief Body Butter

6. Concentrates

Organabus offers two different CBD concentrates, more specifically, their CBD Dab Wax and 99.9% CBD Crystal Isolate.

A) Organabus CBD Dab Wax

CBD Dab Wax is priced at $49.99, for which you’ll receive a 1 gram container with 300 mg of CBD. This is ideal for experienced users, in search of a high concentration smokeable in order to tend to severe symptoms.

Alternatively, the 99.9% CBD Crystal Isolate is priced at $49.99 for a 1 gram container housing 1000 mg of pure CBD. This product is ideal for anyone looking to broaden their CBD usage, providing versatility in dosing.

*Organabus doesn’t list how many grams are contained in each container of CBD Dab Wax

B) Organabus 99.9% CBD Crystal Isolate

7. Nasal Inhalers

Organabus CBD Nasal Inhaler

Organabus offers two different formulations when it comes to CBD Nasal Inhalers, which are ideal for those in search of an alternative, yet effective means when it comes to CBD ingestion.

Priced at $9.99 USD for a single inhaler, there’s no information provided regarding how much CBD is contained in each.

Due to a lack of information on the product, we see this more as a novelty item.

*Organabus doesn’t list the amount of CBD, nor how many mL are contained in each nasal inhaler

8. Hemp Flower & Pre-Rolls

What Does Organabus Do Well?

While our review of Organabus may be filled with areas for improvement, we do think the company does some things well.

Organabus offers a whopping fourteen different products, ranging from dog biscuits to edible gummies and nasal inhalers to bath bombs. It’s rare to see a company push out so many different products, so we’ll provide credit where credit’s due.

Most notably, the products that stick out as the most unique of the bunch include SugarStix, Nasal Inhalers, and Terpene Infused Vape Oils.

When it comes to the different flavor formulations, Organabus’ line of Vapor Liquids has fifteen different flavors to choose from. When taking the terpene-infused alternatives into consideration, that’s another five to choose from. Organabus clearly takes pride in its line of Vapor Liquids.

Where Could Organabus Improve?

The growing CBD industry is fierce in competition. Organabus needs to work on a range of issues if they want to be taken seriously in this space. Here are three areas we think they could benefit the most in improving.

Firstly, Organabus needs to work on providing transparency — by which we mean including such information on company culture, but also simple things like a dedicated section catered towards telling us more about what the company represents.

This would include such details as information regarding their hemp source, what extract strains were used. Additionally, we’d like to see this followed by a section dedicated solely to third-party test results.

Secondly, when it comes to price, a large majority of products within Organabus’ product catalog are much more expensive than their equivalents found on the market.

There’s nothing wrong with charging a premium, as long as it comes as an equally premium product with third-party test results to back the claims.

It’s due to a severe lack of information, we don’t believe these high price tags attached to any of these products make sense, especially with the lack of third-party test results.

Third, Organabus is severely lacking in dosing guidelines and uses. Organabus only provides dosing suggestions for their pet products, the Healthy Doggie CBD Dog Biscuits and Pet Hemp Oil, and Organic CBD Tinctures, both the 300 and 100 mg variants.

However, we find the figures provided strange, as the pet estimates seem too weak (ex. One, 4 mg biscuit for dogs over 50 lbs) for what they’re trying to achieve. For comparison’s sake, we’ve provided an example dosage table below:

Pet CBD Dosage Chart

Animal Size Ideal Dose
Small (2 — 15 lbs) 0.5 mg — 3.75 mg
Medium-Small (15 — 30 lbs) 5 — 7.5 mg
Medium-Large (30 — 60 lbs) 7.5 — 15 mg
Large (60 — 150 lbs) 15 — 38 mg

On top of that, no ingredients lists are provided for any of their products, nor do they provide information on the extract type used.

We believe there are more areas of improvement for Organabus to work on, but for brevity’s sake, we’ll leave it at that.

Safety & Third-Party Testing

A major area of improvement previously mentioned is Organabus’ approach to providing proper third-party testing for their products.

At the time of writing this review, third-party tests were conducted by ProVerde Laboratories, and there are only eight test results available for viewing out of a possible seventy different product variations.

On top of that, these eight tests were conducted well over a year ago, more specifically the end of 2017, with the exception of the Terpene Infused Vape Liquids which were tested back in May 2018.

Without the inclusion of ingredients lists or tests for contaminants, there’s no way of knowing for sure if any of these products contain potentially harmful substances.

This rings especially true for the vapor liquids, which are the company’s main focus. Most companies list the base for their vapor liquids — whether propylene glycol, vegetable glycerine, or something else — but Organabus doesn’t mention any of that.

As far as product guidance goes, Organabus fails to provide information when it comes to CBD knowledge, product safety, and while dosage information is provided on some products, it’s very limited.

Final Verdict: Expensive Price Tag Doesn’t Match Quality Provided

We can’t recommend purchasing products from Organabus, as their problems lie in insufficient information provided, lack of third-party testing available, and the possibility of the company using low-quality hemp in their processes.

While some companies have trouble spewing vast amounts of information that don’t really say much, Organabus’ problems lie in saying too little, overall limiting our trust in them as a CBD provider.

What we mean by that is Organabus fails to provide transparency in everything they do.

Organabus doesn’t mention anything about their hemp source and while they provide some third-party test results, they’re limited to only eight different tests out of a possible seventy that are available for purchase.

Additionally, these third-party tests are outdated, and only detail cannabinoid profile and potency, without providing any testing to check for contaminants. Without this, there’s no proof whether these products are tainted by contaminants.

On top of all of this, there’s an ongoing lack of professionalism throughout the website.

Whether it’s a wonky layout when going through the product catalog or incomplete product descriptions when trying to figure out which products may work best, there’s nothing professional about them at all.

While Organabus’ may have intentions to grow as a legit CBD company, it’s difficult to take them seriously. Ultimately,  we can’t suggest Organabus as a vendor.
