Miss Envy Review

If you’re based in Canada and are looking for a company that provides innovative alternatives to smokable medical cannabis, Miss Envy may be the right dispensary for you.

They have award-winning THC- and CBD-infused topical products, a wide range of edibles, cooking oils, tinctures, and pet products.

There’s a lot to love about this Vancouver-based dispensary, but there are also a few points that aren’t so desirable.

Let’s take a look at what makes this dispensary worthwhile and what they could do to improve.

Mission/Charity 4/5

Miss Envy focuses on producing high-quality medical cannabis and CBD products. Although the company doesn’t donate to any charitable causes, its mission is to provide natural, handcrafted, smokeless alternatives for medical cannabis users.

Hemp Source 4/5

Miss Envy focuses on creating high-quality products to offer natural holistic relief. They state that all of their CBD and THC products are made from 100% organic medicinal cannabis. However, they offer no certificate of analysis to back this statement.

Product Range 5/5

Miss Envy doesn’t offer any smokable cannabis or hemp products. One of the company’s main missions is to provide a smokeless alternative to its customers. They offer products containing high concentrations of THC and CBD.

They provide edibles, tinctures, oils, topicals, and pet products, all of which are infused with THC distillate and/or CBD isolate.

Innovation 5/5

Miss Envy’s mission is clear, and the company is innovative. They lead the way with their high-potency topical products containing both THC and CBD.

Although the company doesn’t stand out for anything specific, its mission to produce only smokeless medical products makes Miss Envy a promising company for the future.

Safety 4/5

Miss Envy offers general safety information for their products and uses a safe CO2 extraction method to create CBD and THC extracts. They have a downloadable dosage guide that includes most of their products.

Although they don’t offer clear safety advice for all of their products, they do have an extensive blog with advice on CBD and THC use. They also have a growing FAQ section that may settle some safety questions in the future.

Customer Service 5/5

Miss Envy doesn’t offer a returns policy. However, this is clearly stated on their website, so customers are aware before purchase. The company answers all customer service inquiries within one to two business days via email.

About the Company: Miss Envy

Miss Envy is a promising Vancouver-based medical cannabis company. Founded in 2013, the company started with their topical cream “Buddha Buddah.” This topical THC-infused cream is now Canada’s number 1 best-selling infused topical aid.

Miss Envy’s product range has grown alongside its popularity. They’re a trusted company with a great reputation, and they seem to be growing in a customer-oriented way.

Their mission is clear — to produce a healthy alternative to smokable medical cannabis. Miss Envy’s story backs this up, and since their founding in 2013, their mission hasn’t changed.

The company claims to use locally-grown 100% organic cannabis in all of its products. They also send their products away for third-party analysis. Although this information isn’t offered through their website, they may disclose their third-party lab results upon request.

Miss Envy provides a plethora of information about CBD, THC, and cannabis on their blog. They also post regular edible recipes, so customers can get the most out of their THC- and CBD-infused cooking oils.

When you purchase directly from their online store, Miss Envy offers a points-based reward system. For every $1 spent, you’ll receive 10 points. Once 2500 points are accumulated, you’ll receive a $10 in-store credit to spend.

This company has a strict no returns policy. However, they openly disclose this information to customers before any purchase is made. They have reliable customer service, and any inquiries are answered within two business days.

Where Does Miss Envy Source Its Hemp?

Miss Envy claims to use locally sourced GMO-free organic hemp. However, they don’t provide a certificate of analysis to prove this.

They do send their products off for third-party analysis, but the results aren’t viewable online without an inquiry. We had to reach out to the company to get ahold of the results. Nothing stood out as being an issue, but we’d like to see this information available voluntarily on the website for all to see.

1. CBD Oils & Tinctures

CBD tinctures traditionally use a solvent as a carrier for a CBD extract. CBD oil uses oil as the carrier for the extract.

Miss Envy provides solvent-free THC and CBD tinctures in the form of “infused oil tinctures.” You’ll find tinctures containing THC, CBD, and both the cannabinoids combined.

A dropper is used to apply the oil under the tongue for sublingual absorption. The best CBD oils and tinctures use an MCT oil carrier to increase bioavailability.

These tinctures offer the potential benefits of both cannabinoids.

2. Concentrates

Concentrates are defined as cannabis or hemp extracts that are highly potent (concentrated).

Concentrates can come in many forms. Pure CBD and THC concentrates can be found in crystalline/powdered isolates and oils.

Miss Envy offers a range of CBD and THC concentrate oils as well as 99% pure CBD isolates.

A) CBD Phoenix Tears

Miss Envy’s CBD Phoenix Tears concentrate contains 300 mg of CBD per 1 g syringe — working out to a 30% pure CBD concentrate. The contents of the syringe is consumed orally.

The CBD extract used in this concentrate is sourced from decarboxylated organic hemp and contains no THC.

B) THC Phoenix Tears

Miss Envy’s THC Phoenix Tears concentrate has 560 – 600 mg of THC per 1 g syringe — working out to a 56 – 60% pure THC concentrate.

The THC is extracted from decarboxylated organic cannabis and is highly bioavailable. Due to THC’s impairing effects, this product will get you “high.”

C) Haley’s Comet 1:1 Phoenix Tears

The Haley’s Comet 1:1 Phoenix Tears concentrate uses an equal ratio of CBD and THC. With 300 mg of CBD and 300 mg of THC per 1 g syringe, users will experience the potential benefits of both cannabinoids.

This is a 60% concentrate with 30% CBD and 30% THC. The extracts are combined with MCT oil for increased bioavailability. Because this product contains high amounts of THC, it will impair the user.

D) 99% CBD Isolate

Miss Envy offers a 99.6% CBD isolate in the form of a supplement powder. The extract is made from organic GMO-free European hemp and contains no trace amounts of THC.

This concentrate can be used in a number of ways. It can be added to foods, drinks, and creams as a supplement to your existing routine.

3. CBD Capsules

CBD capsules make taking CBD easy. CBD extract is measured into pill-shaped capsules so they can be ingested as you would with any other medication or supplement.

Miss Envy currently offers one type of CBD capsule. They come in a bottle of 30 and contain 20 mg of CBD per capsule. The CBD is extracted from decarboxylated hemp and shouldn’t contain any THC. However, there may be trace amounts of the cannabinoid present.

4. CBD & THC Topicals

CBD and THC topicals combine cannabinoid extracts with creams, balms, oils, and shower products. They rely on dermal absorption to get the cannabinoids into the body.

Designed to treat pain and inflammation locally, topicals offer a way to use THC and CBD without ingestion. Usually, topicals don’t include a transdermal carrier, so THC won’t enter the bloodstream and reach the brain — meaning no impairing effects.

Miss Envy is famous for its topical hemp and cannabis products. From their best-selling cannabis cream to bath bombs and lip balms, their topical range is extensive.

Trace amounts of THC are present in the lip balms. However, Miss Envy doesn’t state the percentage of the cannabinoid present.

D) Personal Lubricant

The Miss Envy Personal Lubricant combines organic coconut oil, almond oil, and THC distillate to create a lubricant for use in the bedroom. One 30 ml bottle contains 300 mg of THC.

5. Edibles

CBD and/or THC can be infused into food to create edibles. Edibles are a convenient and tasty way to consume cannabinoids.  Just about any food item can be infused with CBD or THC. However, the most popular forms are chocolates and gummies due to their long shelf-life and easy storage.

Miss Envy offers a range of edible chocolate bars and cooking oils. The cooking oils give the user the freedom to make CBD- or THC-infused food items themselves. You’ll even find handy recipes on Miss Envy’s website for inspiration.

A) CBD Coconut Oil

Miss Envy’s CBD coconut oil is infused with 250 mg of CBD isolate (29.59 mg per tbsp). The 125 ml jars are filled with organic coconut oil and CBD that’s extracted from organic GMO-free hemp.

The oil can be used as an alternative to butter, in daily cooking, or in baking to create CBD edibles. Containing no traces of THC, this CBD coconut oil doesn’t impair the user.

B) THC Coconut Oil

The THC coconut oil from Miss Envy also comes in 125 ml jars. Each jar is infused with 400 mg of THC (47.34 mg per tbsp). Organic cold-pressed coconut oil and THC extracted from organic GMO-free hemp are combined to create this edible oil.

The oil can be used instead of butter, incorporated in daily meals, or used to make baked edibles. With high percentages of THC, this oil will impair the user.

C) CBD Chocolate Bars

The CBD-infused chocolate bars from Miss Envy are fair-trade, gluten-free, organic, 99% dairy-free. Each 150 g chocolate bar contains 120 mg of full-spectrum CBD sourced from organic GMO-free hemp.

There are only trace amounts of THC in these CBD chocolate bars, so they won’t impair the user. However, it may show up on a drug screen.

D) THC Chocolate Bars

Miss Envy offers THC-infused chocolate bars. Each 150 g bar contains 120 mg of THC. Like the CBD chocolate bars, they are gluten-free, 99% dairy-free, fair-trade, and organic. Due to the amount of THC in these bars, they will impair the user.

Miss Envy also offers a 1:1 THC and CBD chocolate bar. Each bar contains 60 mg of CBD and 60 mg of THC.

E) THC Olive Oil

Miss Envy’s THC Olive Oil is 100% organic and fair-trade. Olive oil and THC distillate are combined to create this infused oil. Each 100 ml bottle contains 300 mg of THC (44.38 mg per tbsp).

Being olive oil, this THC oil should not be used for cooking at high temperatures. It’s perfect for dressings, dips, and combining with cold or low-heat dishes.

6. CBD Pet Products

CBD pet products come in a range of shapes and sizes. CBD oil is either flavored and used to supplement daily food and water or infused with pet treats to offer an accurate dose of CBD per treat.

CBD-infused pet products may be used for a variety of pet-related health issues. Miss Envy offers a range of CBD dog and cat treats as well as a dog-specific CBD oil. You’ll find a variety of interesting flavors in their range.

C) Canna-9 CBD Supplement

The Canna-9 Supplement from Miss Envy comes in a 100 ml bottle and contains 250 mg of CBD. An included dropper is used to measure out doses of CBD, so it can be added to a dog’s food or water accurately. Each dropper holds 2.5 mg of CBD.

CBD extract sourced from organic hemp is combined with flaxseed oil, pumpkin seed oil, sunflower oil, cod liver oil, and sesame oil to create the supplement.

7. Psychedelic Microdoses

Psychedelic microdosing involves the consumption of low doses of psychedelic compounds. It’s believed that low doses of certain psychedelics such as psilocybin (found in magic mushrooms) can benefit a number of mental and physical conditions.

Although psilocybin is still illegal across most of the US and Canada, it has been decriminalized in certain regions in the US and, for certain exceptions, in Canada. Miss Envy offers one psilocybin product.

Psilocybin Chocolate Bar

Miss Envy offers a “Scooby Snacks” psilocybin-infused chocolate bar. However, the chocolate bars must be purchased through a different company (Form & Function).

Each chocolate bar contains 1.5 g of psilocybe cubensis (a psychedelic mushroom) that can be divided up into microdoses.

Safety & Third-Party Testing

Miss Envy doesn’t openly display any third-party lab results for their products. However, the data may be available upon request.

Safety advice is limited in the product listings on the Miss Envy website. It’s also occasionally unclear what type of CBD extract, hemp source, and ingredients are included in each product.

They do claim to only use organic GMO-free hemp and cannabis in their products, and they are certainly a reputable and established company. However, their website could use some improvement in terms of available information.

In terms of dosage, information is also lacking on the website. However, since CBD and THC work differently from person to person, doses are usually something that is down to the user to determine.

They do offer plenty of edible recipes on their blog and in a downloadable format. These recipes instruct how to use their CBD and THC-infused coconut oils effectively. The recipes also give an insight into dosage.

Miss Envy’s Shipping & Return Policy

Miss Envy doesn’t have a returns policy. However, this is clearly stated on their website, so potential customers are aware before a purchase is made.

Being Vancouver-based, Miss Envy ships in Canada only. Cannabis is legal both medically and recreationally in Canada therefore; there are no shipping restrictions within the country.

For orders under $100, there is a flat rate shipping fee of $10. Shipping is free on orders over $100.

Final Verdict: Great Products, But Information is Lacking

Miss Envy offers a wide range of smokeless products. Edibles, topicals, cooking oils, and tinctures are stocked for human consumption, as well as CBD-infused pet treats for your furry friends.

Miss Envy has a fantastic range of seemingly high-quality THC and CBD-infused products. However, information on hemp source, extract type, and third-party lab results are lacking.

Some (not all) of the company’s product descriptions leave you wondering what exactly it is your getting. Potency, flavors, and scents are clear, but there’s room for improvement on the availability of safety information, ingredients, and lab results.

Overall, Miss Envy is an innovative company with a clear mission, great quality standards, and an ever-growing product range.
