CBD Drip Review

CBD Drip is one of the older companies in the CBD space — founded back in 2008. How does this brand hold up to its competition? Is it worth buying from?

Mission/Charity 3/5

CBD Drip’s mission is to bring uncompromised quality wellness products to the market. This mission is shared throughout the market and, while meritorious, is nothing out of the ordinary.

Hemp Source 4/5

CBD Drip claims its hemp is organically grown — which is definitely something we like to see. However, there’s nothing provided on behalf of the company to prove this is the case.

Some of this has to do with the difficulty obtaining USDA certification these days, but times are changing, and certificates are now available for companies that make the effort.

Product Range 4/5

CBD Drip offers a variety of products that cover some of the popular delivery methods such as tinctures and vapes. They also offer an interesting variety of gels, capsules, and drinks. In terms of product options, there are enough options for just about anybody to find something that will work for them.

The only major category missing from their lineup is CBD topicals.

Innovation 4/5

CBD Drip is one of a few companies offering an affordable bulk purchase option. They’re also just one of a handful of companies that offer consumers full terpene and cannabinoid profiles. The products are batch labeled with a QR code to review third-party test results — making it easy to view the relevant test results.

Aside from this, there is nothing inherently “innovative” offered by this company.

Safety 3/5

This company uses generic disclaimers to discuss the safety of their products. Some of the products contain PG, which can have an adverse reaction in some cases.

Customer Service 5/5

CBD Drip goes above and beyond to make an excellent return policy or money-back guarantee, answers calls or emails quickly and effectively. We tried to stump their customer service reps but they were incredibly quick in their response and did their best to answer our questions anyway. They have a top-notch customer service team in our books.

CBD Drip Company Review

Article By
Editorial Staff , last updated on November 20, 2020

About The Company: CBD Drip

CBD Drip is a subsidiary company of ECOSCIENCES.

This company is an attractive option for those looking at breaking into the CBD market because they offer quality CBD oil products, 99% pure CBD isolate and 85% distillate hemp extract in bulk and at competitive wholesale prices.

The company and its product line certainly show some promise. However, there are several areas that require improvement — which we’ll get into in more detail below.

In this review we’ll cover everything there is to know about CBD Drip — including what they carry, how the prices compare to others in its class, and whether or not you should buy from this company.

1. CBD Capsules & Gel Caps

CBD Drip ECOCAPS & ECOGEL

These capsules and gels are made from a full-spectrum hemp oil extraction.

Each product contains a list of ingredients and can be easily viewed on the website. They’re also available in handy travel packs containing just enough capsules to get you through your journey.

The Caps are filled with refined powder while the Gels are raw extract combined with C10 caprylic acid and C8 capric acid (fractionated coconut oil).

2. CBD Drinks & Shots

CBD Drip ECOSHOTS

These are handy hemp-extracted 2-ounce (60 mL) CBD beverages in two different varieties and each has two quantity options, you can either purchase a pack of twelve 2-ounce bottles or an individual 2-ounce bottle.

CBD Drip CBD Drinks Include:
  • ECOSHOTS ™ Focused Energy — $4.99
  • ECOSHOTS ™ Focused Energy — $53.89
  • ECOSHOTS ™ Chill Relaxation — $4.99
  • ECOSHOTS ™ Chill Relaxation — $53.89

Both the chill relaxation and focused energy formulas are made with hemp extract blend and isolated CBD concentrate.

The website states that these drinks contain 0.0% THC.

The energy shot does contain caffeine — so CBD Drip doesn’t recommend consuming this product at less than 5 hours before going to sleep.

3. Vape Oils

CBD Drip ECO Drip Series

This is the beginning of CBD Drip’s product line and consists of three primary products:

  • ECODrip Gold — 7 mL (Regular Strength)
  • ECODrip Platinum — 7 mL (Extra Strength)
  • ECODrip Onyx — 7 mL (Max Strength)

All three of these are hemp-extracted, full-spectrum CBD. The differentiating quality between the three products are is their potency or the CBD per mg/mL.

All vape products contain PG.

CBD Drip Rixmix Vape Oils

Next in the Vape category is the RIXMIX, which also contains PG.

These are full-spectrum CBD oils that come in three sizes.

The difference between RIXMIX and the ECODrips is that the RIXMIX can also be applied sublingually.

4. CBD Oils

CBD Drip ECODrops

The ECODrops product series is the line of tinctures is comprised of CBD oil, MCT oil, and other terpene blends. The ‘objective’ of each individual formula is labeled either Dream, Boost, Focus or Relief.

The website states that each product has been designed for these specific purposes, but fails to provide exactly how and what ingredients (or compounds) are used to attain these purposes.

Instead, CBD Drip vaguely lists that terpenes, vitamins, lipids, nutrients, cannabinoids, and other compounds have been used.

What Does CBD Drip Do Well?

CBD Drip has a global presence and has been featured on many news and media outlets.

One of the standout qualities of this company is that, unlike some other competitors, CBD Drip displays a genuine commitment to the CBD industry, despite being a subsidiary of a larger parent company (ECOSCIENCE) with varied interests.

The mission is noble; to bring wellness to all people with safe products.

However, even though this message reads noble on paper it is a generic mission across the CBD industry.

Regarding pricing, the company is a good option for those looking to dive into the wholesale process. Purchasing wholesale bulk from CBD Drip is affordable and straightforward compared to other competitors. In this way, they are providing small dispensaries and other businesses a simple and uncomplicated avenue to acquire products for their shelves.

CBD Drip’s sourcing methods are clean, as well as the extraction methods. The products are sourced from a small-scale and organic farm based in the Netherlands.

As for the extraction methods, the supercritical CO2 method is used — which is widely considered the industry standard.

CBD Drip is also a shining example of stellar customer service, and this is perhaps one of their best qualities.

Their response to criticism is usually comprised of bettering their products and transforming the criticism into a constructive comment and an opportunity to provide personalized assistance to the client. If consumers raise questions about the efficiency of products, a representative is often quick to consult and offer a product that could yield more effective results.

This enthusiasm is what makes the company so promising. However, the following are a few areas that raise concern.

Where Could CBD Drip Improve?

While the company displays up-to-date test results via independent testers, SC Labs, there are a few red flags.

The biggest cause for concern is that the tests are not conducted for residual solvents — something that should be critical to test.

Furthermore, zero tests are performed to assess the levels of heavy metals and pesticides within the products. This is obviously a dent in their safety assessment and until CBD Drip offers transparent testing for these potentially toxic substances and residues — there is a concern for safety.

On the product descriptions, it’s stated that no harmful solvents are present because the CO2 extraction method is used.

Unfortunately, this is not sufficient enough for us as there needs to be testing done on every batch and posted publically to score well with our system.

Solvents may be used in other parts of the manufacturing process outside CO2 extraction — so these tests still need to be run.

Another safety issue is the fact that CBD Drip uses propylene glycol (PG). PG is a naturally occurring alcohol, and while it is not proven to be unsafe itself, there are reports that it can cause allergic reactions.

Final Verdict: Quality Wholesale, But Tests Are Lacking

Although the CBD Drip line offers wholesale options for eager CBD businesses, their lack of testing for contaminants and heavy metals leave them with a weak safety profile.

In the modern market, there are a lot of other companies that have proven through third-party lab testing to be free of all of these potentially harmful contaminants — therefore, CBD Drip is not a product we can recommend.

The company holds great promise with their sincere and exceptional customer service and mission. However, the abundance of PG in the products and the aforementioned lack of testing needs to be addressed before CBD Drip can actualize their mission of bringing quality, conscious health to everyone.
