There are a number of skin-nourishing ingredients in this product that does work to address some of the symptoms listed. We do like the ingredients mentioned on the product description page and we’ll talk about the individual benefits here:
- Emu Oil – high in essential fatty acids, emu oil helps reduce inflammation, blemishes, and redness.
- Calendula Oil – has anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties and is often used to soothe eczema and heal wounds.
- Grape Seed Oil – high in vitamin E, it improves the appearance of skin texture and provides skin-loving hydration.
- Jojoba Oil – used for treating sores and bruises, skin disorders, and chapped skin.
- Coconut Oil – is high in antimicrobial properties and is used to help heal wounds and keep the skin moisturized.
These all sound great because these are popular skin-loving ingredients, and we love to see them incorporated in CBD topical formulas.

There are a couple of ingredients here that differ from the product description such as the exclusion of emu oil and coconut oil. This is perhaps because emu oil is expensive, and Blue Moon Hemp decided to opt for a cheaper option with olive oil and vegetable oil.
On the plus side, arnica oil is an excellent ingredient to help reduce the appearance of scars and bruising.
We’re not sure what happened here, but the inconsistency and lack of transparency with this brand don’t make for ideal customer experiences.

Final Verdict: Great Budget CBD Salve But Lacks Potency
From what we can tell, we love the ingredient list and it’s priced reasonably well.
It’s jam-packed with skin-loving ingredients that can also lend its benefits to muscle and joint pain relief — However, it would be helpful if Blue Moon Hemp posted the entire ingredient list on the website.
If you’re looking for a CBD topical to help you with your sore muscles from a tough workout or injury or needing to relieve painful arthritis flare-ups, your money is better spent towards a more potent CBD formula.
