The Amma Life CBD Teas are potent, very affordable, contain 100% natural ingredients, and come in two flavors: regular and mint.
Each box comes with 20 tea bags and 600 milligrams of CBD, and since tea doesn’t require any guesswork regarding dosing — these products are an easy way to incorporate CBD into your daily routine.
While CBD teas aren’t the strongest way of using CBD, they do offer a nice relaxing effect when you need it.

It was difficult to determine the real value for Amma Life CBD Teas because we had to calculate the milligrams from a percentage. It only listed the potency as 2% per tea bag, however, we were able to determine each bag contains 30 mg of CBD — breaking down to £0.02 ($0.02) per mg — which is a great value.
CBD Potency 4/5
Each tea bag contains 1.5 grams. 2% of that is 0.03 grams or 30 mg per tea bag — which is pretty potent for a CBD tea.
However, CBD teas have some of the lowest bioavailability compared to other forms of CBD, so it’s not likely all 30 grams ever make it into the body. It’s unknown how efficient CBD-infused teas actually are.

Amma Life has excellent hemp sources located in Holland, Lithuania, and Spain that are third-party tested. This product has had almot no processing done — it’s made from raw hemp leaves that have simply been dried and cured.
It’s hard to hide low-quality hemp in tea form because you can taste the quality of the hemp on the first sip. This tea is not too bitter, and has a pleasant hemp aroma to it — which are great indicators of quality.

CBD teas shouldn’t be used to treat any symptom or disease — they simply aren’t strong enough. However, this tea does offer a great relaxing beverage to enjoy in the evenings, at work, or while you study.

While this is more options than most CBD manufacturers offer, we’d really like to see a few more blends available. Other CBD brands, like The Brother’s Apothecary, offer a whole line of interesting CBD tea flavors to choose from.

The formula of these teas are simple — dried hemp leaves and mint.
There really isn’t anything more this company needs to add to this formula since this product is simply made to be a loose-leaf hemp tea.
However, for maximum points, we’d like to at least see a few other formulas or blends with other beneficial herbs to improve the effect profile, flavor, or both.

What is CBD Tea?
There are two ways to make CBD tea; you can infuse a CBD extract into teabags or loose leaf tea (such as the CBD teas from Buddha Teas), or you can simply use the raw hemp leaves themselves.
Amma Life chose to do the former. These teas are made with dried, cured hemp leaves you can simply stick in a teapot like you would any other tea.
As the leaves soak in the hot water, all the active ingredients slowly start to diffuse into the water.
While CBD teas are far from the strongest method of CBD intake, it does offer a nice relaxing way to kick back at the end of a long day.
About the Company: Amma Life
Amma Life claims to use CBD products that are independently tested, and the certificate of analysis is posted under each product description — however, the Deluxe CBD Cream and some of its other products don’t have lab results posted.
Amma Life also claims to use 100% organic ingredients, but this isn’t a certified organic company — so we can’t confirm if these are truly organic products.
That said, the company does come highly rated on Trustpilot — an independent review website that reviews different businesses around the globe.

It was difficult to determine the actual value for these Amma Life CBD Teas because you’ll get 20 teabags in a box, and we had to calculate the mg of CBD in each bag.
It also only lists an “approximate” potency of 2% CBD per tea bag — which also made it difficult to calculate the value. Since each box contains 600 mg of CBD, and it costs £11.59 for a box of the Amma Life CBD & Mint Tea and £11.99 for the Amma Life CBD tea, we were able to figure out each bag contains 30 mg of CBD — which puts both teas at £0.02 ($0.02) per mg.
Keep in mind, the actual bag count is 20, however, £0.02 ($0.02) per mg of CBD is a great deal. The cheapest CBD products generally cost less than £0.10 per mg, and Amma Life’s Teas are well below that.
Each tea bag contains 1.5 grams, and 2% of that comes to 0.03 grams or 30 mg of CBD per serving. If this is the case, then they are a pretty potent product the highest potency CBD formulas contain over 50 mg of CBD per serving.

Amma Life uses full-spectrum hemp that comes third-party tested from farms in Holland, Lithuania, and Spain that are free from contaminants and toxins. These teas only contain one or two ingredients depending on which tea you get.
The regular CBD tea contains just hemp leaves, and the mint tea flavor contains peppermint and hemp leaves that become activated after being steeped in hot water.

Final Verdict: A Relaxing Raw Hemp Tea
Overall, Amma Life CBD Teas are interesting products that make integrating CBD into your day to day life easy without needing to alter your routine.
It also only gives us an approximate amount of CBD per tea bag, which is 2%.
We were able to determine how many milligrams were in each tea bag by doing a few calculations: each tea bag contains 1.5 grams, and 2% of that is 0.03 grams, or 30 mg. We then multiplied 30 mg per bag times the 20 bags, for a total of 600 mg per box. If this concentration is accurate, then these are some pretty potent teas that would offer some therapeutic benefits.
Taking everything into consideration — we recommend the Amma Life Teas for their potency, price, and because it uses full-spectrum, independently-tested CBD.
