At first glance, the JuJu Royal Irie CBD Tincture seems like a high-quality product at a great price. Unfortunately, however, it’s not clear whether the CBD is full-spectrum or not. Therefore, in our opinion, it’s not worth buying.
JuJu Royal CBD tinctures only cost $0.06 for every milligram of CBD used in the formula — this is definitely on the low end for a CBD tincture, even those made from isolates. This product is then formulated to include terpenes like beta-caryophyllene and other steam-distilled terpenes — adding further value to this low-cost product.
The only factor we’ve found that cuts the value of this product is a complete lack of batch numbers on their lab tests. We can’t confirm the tests are valid for current batches in circulation.
Containing 2.5 mg of CBD per drop, the JuJu Royal Irie CBD Tincture has a fairly high potency. This makes it easy for those with higher dosage requirements to get the CBD they need.
The hemp used to make the JuJu Royal Irie CBD Tincture is of high-quality: it’s grown organically in Colorado and certified by the Department of Agriculture. In addition, the CBD is CO2 extracted and there are third-party lab test results available. The only thing lacking is a proper USDA certification for their organic hemp — which we expect to see in the coming years as this becomes more achievable by American hemp farmers.
Thanks to its high concentration and inclusion of additional terpenes, this product is very useful as a general CBD supplement — which is the intended use of this product. However, the efficacy is limited by the fact that this product is made from isolate, and lacks additional ingredients to improve its usefulness for a specific set of symptoms or conditions.
With just three flavors (and no unflavored option) that only come in a 30 mL bottle containing 1500 mg of CBD, JuJu Royal offers limited choice when it comes to this product.
At first glance, the JuJu Royal Irie CBD Tincture has a fairly standard, effective formula that includes CBD, MCT oil, natural flavors. This company is a little bit different than a lot of its competition by adding in its own blend of proprietary steam-distilled terpenes to give the product more of a “full-spectrum” feel while maintaining the lower cost of CBD oils made from an isolate.
We can’t give them full points here since the formula is so simple. All you’re getting with this mix is CBD and a few hemp-derived terpenes and some MCT oil.
CBD tinctures provide one of the most popular ways of taking CBD. They are cost-effective and easy to administer and allow for good dosage control — making them popular with both new and experienced CBD users.
However, not all CBD products are the same. Many factors can affect the quality of a CBD product, such as the hemp it was sourced from, the extraction method, the CBD concentration, and availability of third-party lab test results.
These factors can mean the difference between a CBD product that does next to nothing and one that provides you with the relief you need. However, with so many new CBD companies popping up left and right, it can be difficult to find one that can be trusted.
This is why we provide independent reviews of CBD companies and their products. For this review, we will be looking at the JuJu Royal CBD Tincture.
JuJu Royal is a cannabis wellness brand that was founded in 2014 by Julian Marley, son of late reggae star Bob Marley. Like his father, Julian is a big advocator of marijuana use, which explains the brand’s focus on THC-rich cannabis products.
In addition, the company has a non-psychoactive CBD product line that includes tinctures, vape juices, vape pens and cartridges, and CBD-infused olive oil.
In this review, we will be looking at the CBD Tincture.
This 30 mL tincture contains 1500 mg of CBD mixed with MCT oil, natural flavoring, and select terpenes (natural components of cannabis that have health benefits of their own).
The CBD used to make this product is an isolate — extracted and purified from organic hemp plants grown in Colorado.
CBD isolate is in stark contrast to full-spectrum CBD — which is widely considered superior to isolated CBD because the various cannabinoids, flavonoids, terpenes, and other components of cannabis work in synergy with CBD to deliver superior health benefits.
There are of course benefits to using isolate instead of full-spectrum, such as:
This CBD tincture comes in three flavors:
All flavors are sold as a 1500 mg CBD in a 30 mL bottle — it costs $89.99, which is a fairly competitive price for a CBD tincture with this level of potency.

While many of JuJu Royal’s CBD products are, in our opinion, too expensive for what you get, this tincture has a competitive price that is in line with those offered by many other high-quality brands.
Containing 2.5 mg of CBD per drop, this tincture has a fairly strong potency. This means you can easily reach high doses of 25 mg to 50 mg with 10 to 20 drops, allowing you to use this tincture to treat a wide variety of health concerns.
With its relatively high concentration of 1500 mg per 30 mL bottle, both individuals new to CBD and those who are experienced or need high doses can benefit from this product.
The JuJu Royal CBD Tincture is priced competitively, with a cost of $0.06 per mg of CBD. Even for a CBD oil made from isolate, this is a very low cost.
Unfortunately, we’re skeptical about the lab testing provided by this company (no batch numbers) which lowers the value of this product overall.
Product Name | Total CBD | Total Cost | Cost per mg CBD |
Juju Royal CBD Tincture | 1500 mg | $89.99 | $0.06 |
Containing a total of 1500 mg of CBD in the bottle and 2.5 mg per drop, this CBD tincture has a fairly high potency and can potentially last you a whole month. This much CBD is suitable for most of the suggested uses attributed to CBD products in general.
Product Name | Total CBD | Total Volume | CBD Potency (mg/mL) |

If there’s one thing we can credit JuJu Royal for, it’s the quality of its hemp, which is grown organically in the San Luis Valley of Colorado. This hemp is certified by the state’s Department of Agriculture, and the third-party lab test results confirm it is free of pesticides and herbicides.
This is a simple CBD tincture containing a mixture of CBD isolate, MCT oil, flavoring, and additional steam-distilled terpenes like beta-caryophyllene and others.
Some places on the website suggest the tinctures contain CBG — which is another cannabinoid with well-known benefits on anxiety and other symptoms — however, there was at least one third-party lab test that suggested there was no CBG at all.
On top of this, none of the lab tests provided on the company website provides a batch number. This makes it easy for this company to test one successful batch of product, and avoid testing any future batches while still maintaining that they do third-party testing. We’re not saying JuJu Royal is doing this, but we’re not saying they aren’t either.
At first glance, the JuJu Royal CBD Tincture looks like a fairly decent product. It has a fairly high potency, is made with quality hemp, and is reasonably priced.
However, the lack of information and proof that it is full-spectrum is a significant problem. This is because full-spectrum products are known to be much more effective than CBD isolates, thanks to what is known as the entourage effect.
Therefore, in conclusion, we would highly recommend choosing CBD tinctures from other brands that provide clear information and third-party lab test results to prove that their products are full-spectrum.
