CBDistillery Isolate Tinctures

This product is no longer sold by CBDistillery.

These tinctures are made using a 99.9% CBD isolate. This product is available in every potency under the sun — all the way up to about 166.6 mg/mL which is well above average. For novice users or those who prefer lower doses of CBD — these oils come all the way down to 8.4 mg/mL potencies.

Price/Value 5/5

CBDistillery’s CBD isolates are very cost-effective.

For those of you on a budget looking for a CBD oil free from tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), these oils are a wise choice.

Although the upfront cost is more, you can pay as little as $0.04 per mg as the concentrations start to increase.

CBD Potency 5/5

The wide range of concentrations on offer here means that there’s almost certainly a CBD potency for your level of CBD experience or for any symptoms that you’re faced with.

The wide range of concentrations means that there is almost certainly a CBD potency for your level of experience and symptoms. The servings range from 8.3 mg to 66 mg of CBD per serving.

Hemp Source 4/5

CBDistillery’s hemp is sourced domestically in the U.S. and is manufactured in Colorado – thus far, there is no indication as to the where specifically the hemp is grown.

The company claims that its hemp is non-GMO and pesticide-free, but hasn’t yet acquired the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Certified Organic stamp of approval.

Purpose/Uses 4/5

CBDistillery suggests adding its CBD isolates to your cooking or drinks because they are tasteless and odorless. They can also be taken sublingually (under your tongue).

We recommend either of these methods of ingestion.

Product Variations 4/5

These CBD isolates are available in a wide spectrum of potencies.

Few companies offer quite the same range as these products cover; however, they are only sold in 30 mL (1 oz) bottles.

CBDistillery’s CBD isolate tinctures would have scored higher if there were more bottle sizes to choose from.

Formulation/Ingredients 3/5

The formulation of this product is about as standard as they come — consisting of a CBD distillate (isolate), and carrier oil. There are no added terpenes, flavors, or other active ingredients in this formula.

If you’re in the market for new cannabidiol (CBD) isolate tinctures, you’ve come to the right place.

For those of you who are new to the industry, CBD belongs to a family of chemical compounds called cannabinoids and is extracted from the cannabis plant.

Research indicates that, when ingested, these extracted cannabinoids positively interact with our endocannabinoid system (ECS) to provide us with a whole host of psychological, physiological, dermatological, and physical health benefits.

As a result of this interaction, CBD has been known to treat a large variety of symptoms, including anxiety, nausea, stress, insomnia, pain, inflammation, and rare forms of epilepsy, as well as promoting cardiovascular health and overall well-being.

Specifically, CBD isolates are pretty much exactly what they sound like –– CBD in its purest form without any other additional cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant, including tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).

CBDistillery tends to be a less expensive option compared with many other suppliers, but how good is the quality?

This review will examine the CBD isolate tinctures offered by CBDistillery to help you make an informed decision.

Overview: CBD Isolate Tinctures

CBDistillery is one of the lower-cost providers of CBD currently on the market and has managed to maintain quality and potency without substantially increasing the cost of its products, offering both CBD isolates and full-spectrum CBD oils.

The latter is made using the entire cannabis plant and will contain other cannabinoids that may have health benefits of their own.

The former, on the other hand, is made with 100% pure CBD and are guaranteed to be free from other chemicals such as THC, which is the chemical famous for causing the intoxicating feeling of being high or otherworldly.

Although most people generally consider full-spectrum CBD oils to be superior, isolates do have some advantages.

Isolates tend to be slightly cheaper than full-spectrum oils and are mostly flavorless and odorless, which may be appealing if you plan on adding them to food or drinks.

The isolate tinctures from CBDistillery are available in 250 mg, 500 mg, 1000 mg, 2500 mg, and 5000 mg of CBD concentrations.

All of these CBD oils have been tested by a third-party lab to ensure that they’re free from potentially dangerous materials or foreign substances, which can be harmful to your body.

All of these CBD isolates come in a 30 mL bottle. You can purchase them from the CBDistillery website for as low as $29.00. The highest concentration, at 5000 mg, costs $220.00.

About the Company: CBDistillery

CBDistillery was founded in 2016 by a small group of Colorado natives with an idea to combat the overpriced and vastly oversaturated CBD market.

With “the people’s best interests in mind”, the company believes that “people have a right to high-quality, fairly priced, U.S. grown, hemp-derived CBD products”, with a focus on keeping in-line with the FDA’s guidelines, as well as the company’s own third-party testing standards.

Hemp Source

According to CBDistillery’s General FAQ page, the company is a Colorado local company and all of its products are manufactured in Colorado – however, the source location isn’t specifically stated, only that it purchases the hemp domestically.

The company also states here that it uses non-GMO, organic, and pesticide-free industrial hemp grown outdoors for all its CBD extracts but hasn’t yet been given the USDA Certified Organic stamp of approval.

Each product comes with third-party lab test results from Massachusetts & Maine based ProVerde Laboratories and locally-based Botanacor Laboratories, who both specialize in cannabis and hemp testing.

Purpose/Uses

The wide range of concentrations in CBDistillery’s CBD isolate tinctures means that they may be useful for many different conditions and symptoms ranging from mild to severe, including chronic pain, inflammation, anxiety, and insomnia.

CBDistillery suggests using the CBD isolate tinctures sublingually (under your tongue) or adding them to your food.

Product Variations/Flavors

Currently, the CBD isolate tinctures are only available in 30 mL. They are generally flavorless and odorless, so there aren’t any other choices of flavor. However, they come in five different concentrations, ranging from a relatively mild to ultra-strong.

Shipping and Returns

CBDistillery states that all packages are shipped out using UPS within 48 hours after payment is processed – orders typically take 5-7 days to arrive after your order has been shipped out of the company’s offices.

Unfortunately, international shipping isn’t an option.

The company also offers a 7-day return policy for unopened products and will take 7-10 days for the refund to be processed.

Final Verdict: Is it a Good Purchase?

If you’re on a budget and looking for a product that is 100% free from THC, these CBD isolate tinctures are a good choice.

The exclusion of THC should give you added peace of mind if you have an upcoming drug test or are worried about having any kind of potentially intoxicating compound in your body.

In my opinion, despite enjoying the effects that the CBD isolates gave me, full-spectrum CBD oils are still the way to go due to their added cannabinoids.

But if the cost is a significant factor in your purchasing choice then it’s worth taking advantage of the isolates, which are reasonably inexpensive compared to the full-spectrum alternative. You’ll notice the saving potential as the concentration – and the subsequent CBD per mg – increases.

Overall, this is a pretty decent CBD isolate tincture for the cost. However, I would probably stick to full-spectrum oils due to there being slightly more CBD per mg and tend to be more effective than CBD isolate tinctures.
