All Natural Way Pain Relief CBD Spray

All Natural Way offers a pharmaceutical-free solution to pain with its Pain Relief CBD Spray. The formula includes 500 mg of CBD extract, MSM, collagen peptides, and Turmacin™ to address inflammation-induced pain.

We love to see brands innovate — like taking CBD in combination with other beneficial supplements. However, this product isn’t one we’d recommend. We don’t have enough information about the quality and safety of its hemp source, and the CBD potency and added ingredients aren’t included in any significant quantities conducive to pain relief.

Price/Value 1/5

A 30 mL bottle of the Pain Relief CBD spray retails for $74.99. You’re getting 500 mg of CBD extract and a blend of other anti-inflammatory ingredients. This roughly breaks down to $0.14/mg of CBD, which is an average asking price for a product like this. However, you’re not actually getting your money’s worth here.

First off, All Natural Way lacks hemp sourcing transparency. We’re not even sure the extract is of high quality to provide any therapeutic value. Second, it doesn’t contain full-spectrum extract as advertised. And finally, the additional anti-inflammatory ingredients aren’t in any substantial quantities that can provide you with the benefits this product sets out to do.

CBD Potency 2/5

At 16.7 mg of CBD per mL, we consider this a medium potency product. This is fine for most mild applications of CBD use (sore muscles), but it’s certainly not enough to provide pain relief. CBD is an excellent pain-killer, but you need to find high strength products to make the most of it.

Hemp Source 1/5

This is one of the factors that bothered us most about All Natural Way — it has a complete disregard for hemp sourcing transparency. It sources hemp from supposedly organic hemp farms in Colombia in collaboration with a university that conducts medical cannabis research. However, the university doesn’t exist, there are no organic certifications, and the extract isn’t tested for contaminants.

Purpose/Uses 2/5

The spray bottle is a convenient application method for this type of product — but the CBD potency and ingredients aren’t effective at delivering what this product promises, which is manage pain and help its customers eliminate their dependency on chemical-based drugs.

Product Variation 4/5

While the Pain Relief CBD Spray only comes in one strength and size (500 mg in 30 mL), it’s part of a five-product line up of specialized CBD sprays. Each formula is designed to address different ailments. Ideally, this spray would come in a higher strength to manage stronger pain symptoms.

Formulation/Ingredients 2/5

All the ingredients are here to address inflammatory pain — CBD extract, MSM, collagen, and Turmacin™. However, none of the ingredients are in any meaningful quantities to provide support. Moreover, the CBD extract on the label says full-spectrum, but the only test result provided on the website shows it was made with CBD isolate.

All Natural Way Pain Relief CBD Spray Product Review

Overview: Pain Relief CBD Spray

The Pain Relief oral spray advertises 500 mg of full-spectrum CBD isolate combined with inflammation-reducing ingredients, such as MSM, hydrolyzed collagen, and Turmacin, to regulate pain.

We can see where All Natural Way was going with this product — CBD is an excellent pain killer in high doses, and it includes anti-inflammatory supplements to reduce inflammation-causing pain. Still, there are several key areas where this product falls short.

All Natural Way exists to eliminate the high dependence on chemically infused drugs with more natural-based remedies featuring CBD. While CBD does have a propensity to relieve pain and fight inflammation, you only really get this benefit in high doses, which this product is on the lower spectrum of.

But it includes these other great anti-inflammatory ingredients to make up for it, right?

Not in this case.

The additional ingredients are well below the recommended doses to benefit from its effects, which is bizarre, considering these products are supposed to have been formulated by expert scientists and pharmacists.

A 30 mL bottle will set you back $74.99, which isn’t a bad price for a product of this nature. However, this spray isn’t that effective at doing what it promises.

To add to the point of value, this product says it contains full-spectrum CBD extract, but the third-party lab test found only CBD in the formula.

CBD is great on its own, but research suggests that the range of cannabinoids and terpenes from full-spectrum extracts can elevate the effects of CBD in a phenomenon called the entourage effect. Full-spectrum extracts are also generally more expensive than its isolate counterpart.

We’ll get into all these details and more about All Natural Way’s Pain Relief Spray, and why you might want to shop elsewhere to address pain with CBD.

Pros & Cons

Pros Cons
  • Spray bottle application
  • Tastes great
  • Not a strong enough potency
  • Additional supplements are in too low of doses
  • Incomplete third-party testing for hemp quality
  • False full-spectrum claim

Key Features & Benefits

1. Spray Bottle Application

This formula is great in a spray bottle because it’s a water-based formula as opposed to an oil-based (hemp-seed, MCT oil, or olive oil) CBD product. The spray is easy to apply underneath the tongue, without having to measure drops — 6 sprays delivers the recommended dose.

2. Sugar-Free Sweet Flavor

We don’t mind the taste of natural CBD oils, but there are some who prefer a less oily formula with a bit of sweetness. The All Natural Way sublingual sprays are a touch sweet but without adding any sugar (so, it’s A-OK for insulin sensitivities).

3. Includes Additional Anti-Inflammatory Ingredients

OK — we’re not overly impressed at the small doses included of the other anti-inflammatory supplements (collagen peptides, MSM, Turmacin), but we have to mention that it’s a step in the right direction.

CBD is beneficial for many different ailments because of its broad interaction in the body. When you combine CBD with other anti-inflammatory and analgesic compounds, you can get better results.

About the Company: All Natural Way

The All Natural Way’s Northern star is to “eliminate the high dependence on chemically infused drugs and bring about a natural revolution of change and sustainability.”

Since establishing in 2014, the Florida-based company set out to do just that by creating CBD-based products to address common health concerns. If you live in the US, you can shop from a range of oral sprays, oil, and creams that combine CBD, botanical extracts, and health supplements that aims to provide a well-rounded approach to self-care.

According to the website, ANW sources its organic hemp from Colombia and works with a dedicated team of expert scientists and genetic engineers through every stage of product development and even has a team of pharmacists to develop formulas.

It definitely sounds impressive — but we couldn’t find any sources that substantiate these claims.

All Natural Way lacks organic certifications and complete third-party testing for all its products that prove that the hemp source is of quality. On top of this, the formulations that set out to address pain, stress, weight loss, and other common health concerns may seem convincing at first glance, they often don’t have enough of the active ingredients to work its effects.

We’ve reached out to ANW to get answers on certifications, CoAs, and ingredients, but our emails have all gone unanswered, which makes us doubt the integrity of the company.

Who Should Consider Using The Pain Relief CBD Spray?

The Pain Relief spray says, “it relieves pain and reduces inflammation by regulating the body’s reaction to pain.” All Natural Way caters to an audience looking to shy away from pharmaceuticals towards more natural, holistic alternatives.

While this product may provide some benefits to inflammation and pain relief, it’s barely on the cusp of an appropriate CBD potency to produce these effects in most individuals. If you’re looking to address pain caused by inflammation, look for a product with a higher CBD strength (with at least 1000 mg per 30 mL bottle).

Price/Value

It’s not always easy determining the value of a CBD product because there’s a lot that goes into pricing from hemp source quality, testing, certifications, additional ingredients, and so on.

For the sake of simplicity, we’ll put all of that on hold for now and take the total CBD content divided by the retail price to get a price per mg CBD approximation. This makes it easier to compare prices across different brands.

The Pain Relief spray breaks down to $0.14/mg. For better context, the average price breakdown for CBD extracts ranges from $0.10 – $0.16/mg. With that said, you can also expect to pay a little bit more for full-spectrum extracts and formulations that include other therapeutic ingredients, as we have here.

We would agree with this price point if the extract type matched as advertised (full-spectrum), and the other additional ingredients were in doses that made sense to the purpose of the product. Whether it was a mistake or All Natural Way is trying to get away with selling CBD isolates as a full-spectrum extract, we’re not entirely sure — but it doesn’t make the company look good.

CBD Potency

The Pain Relief CBD Spray is only available in the one 500 mg strength in a 30 mL formula. This breaks down to a 16.7 mg/mL, which is a decent medium potency product that you can always build up or scale down, depending on how many sprays you dose yourself.

For products designed for pain and inflammation, the stronger potencies — 1000 mg per standard 30 mL bottles — are typically where you’d want to start. Most research on the effects of CBD on pain and inflammation use higher doses.

In the case of this product, even with the additional inflammation regulating supplements, you won’t find substantial pain relief.

Hemp Source

All Natural Way certainly talks a lot about quality control, lab testing, and a superior hemp source with nothing to back up this big talk.

The hemp crops come from a family-farm located outside Medellin, Colombia for its optimal growing temperatures and access to fresh mountain spring water. From the seeds all the way to extraction, All Natural Way employs a team of scientists to oversee this crop. It even partners with the Universidad De Equina De Colombia for medicinal cannabis research, headed by Harvard Ph.D., Md. Juan Restrepo.

We couldn’t find a Universided De Equina De Colombia that exists or any association of a Dr. Juan Restrepo with All Natural Way in our research — so we’re not even sure any of this is true.

We would feel more confident in its hemp source if there were any certifications or complete third-party testing that demonstrates the quality of the hemp and that it’s free from pesticides, heavy metals, and other contaminants from the extraction process. None of this information is available on the ANW website, and they never responded to our emails asking about this.

Purposes & Uses

This is a daily dietary supplement. On the product description page, the Pain Relief Spray “works on changing the reaction of pain receptors and reducing inflammation” to eliminate one’s dependence on chemically infused drugs.

How does it work?

All Natural Way recommends you start with a small dose on your first time, and spray the product under the tongue to let the oil absorb into the microcapillaries and into the bloodstream.

But does it work?

If you’re looking for immediate pain relief, this product won’t deliver. It may help to manage pain over time with a medium dose of CBD taken regularly with trace amounts of other inflammation-fighting ingredients along with other forms of treatment.

Formula & Ingredients

The Pain Relief Spray is one of five oral spray products that All Natural Way offers. Each is formulated to address a different health concern. This product combines CBD extract, MSM, hydrolyzed collagen, and Turmacin™ to target inflammation causing pain.

Let’s have a closer look at the ingredients and see how they add value to the formula. We’ve listed each component along with the amount contained per serving, starting with our favorite ingredient.

CBD Isolate — 16.7 mg

All Natural Way doesn’t specify what type of pain this product is designed for (there are many ways to categorize pain). The 16.7 mg per dose here may be appropriate at addressing mild muscle soreness, psychosomatic pain, and early-stage arthritis, but for anything more severe, you should look for higher potencies.

Another point we want to highlight here is that the bottle says it contains full-spectrum CBD. However, the lab result posted on the website shows it only to include one cannabinoid — CBD.

If it’s legal in your region, getting a hold of full-spectrum CBD for pain is ideal. Full-spectrum extracts contain a wide range of beneficial cannabinoids and terpenes that can elevate the effects of CBD.

Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) — 5 mg

MSM is an organic sulfur compound often found in bone and joint support supplementation because it reduces inflammation in connective tissues. It can also act as an analgesic over time by decreasing nerve spasms that cause pain.

The recommended daily dose for this supplement is 2 – 6 g — this product only contains 5 mg. It’s highly unlikely you’ll reap the benefits of MSM in this formula.

Hydrolyzed Collagen — 100 mg

This hydrolyzed collagen comes from fish. Collagen peptides break down into amino acids, which are the building blocks for proteins that strengthen bones and joints, and may boost the density of cartilage.

To take advantage of these benefits, you need about 8 – 12 g daily. With this spray, you’re only getting 100 mg per dose, which is not nearly enough.

Turmacin™ — 100 mg

Turmacin is a proprietary water-soluble turmeric compound. Turmeric is rich in curcuminoids, which is a powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. To get the most out of turmeric, you need high doses.

The recommended dose for Turmacin is 500 mg twice a day in adults. Again, why is All Natural Way even bothering with such negligible quantities of these ingredients?

All Natural Way’s Shipping & Return Policy

All Natural Way only ships to customers living in the United States.

You can get your money back within 30 days of receiving your package only if it’s unused and unopened. You are, however, responsible for all return shipping fees.

Before you send back your package for a refund or exchange, you’ll need to reach out to the company. Based on our poor customer experience with ANW, you could run into problems returning unwanted products.

Final Verdict: It’s Not A Strong Enough Pain Relief Spray

We wanted to like this product — it’s great when brands combine CBD with other excellent ingredients for targeted treatment. However, there simply isn’t enough CBD or the other inflammation-combatting supplements in this product to address pain.

While CBD is an excellent pain-killer, you only get this advantage at high doses.

On top of this, we don’t find the company’s reputation to be all that trust-worthy, which makes us reluctant to recommend any of its products.

Overall, ANW could work on better hemp transparency, creating formulas with the appropriate doses, and its customer service.
