The CBD drink mixes by Aceso are designed purely for convenience — all you have to do is mix one of the packets with water and give it a shake.
This product comes in three varieties — Calm, Soothe, and Wellness — each with a blend of CBD and synergistic ingredients designed to help with a specific issue. The Calm formula promotes relaxation, Soothe helps with exercise recovery and joints, and Wellness is meant to boost immunity and energy.
We found this product too subtle for our preference — the low 10 mg dose of CBD left a lot to be desired. Also, the cost per mg of CBD is higher than CBD oils and most other forms of CBD consumption.
However, if you’re only looking for a small amount of CBD and value the convenience of packets you can take with you on the go, these mixes can be a decent option.
The drink mixes from Aceso provide an interesting and convenient way to use CBD in addition to other beneficial ingredients at a fairly reasonable price. However, there are many other products on the market that provide a higher dose of CBD at a lower cost.
At just 10 mg of CBD per packet, this product is on the low end of the spectrum. Most people will need to double up on these or use other forms of CBD like tinctures or capsules to reach an effective dose — which really defeats the purpose of using this product to begin with.
With that said, a large bottle of water (~1 L) with two packets delivers a decent dose of 20 mg CBD with a pleasant taste. It’s a shame these packets didn’t come with 15 or 20 mg of CBD to begin with.
Aceso doesn’t provide much information about its hemp source, making it difficult to trust the company. It also claims to use broad-spectrum hemp extract, but its third-party tests contradict this as one test shows CBD isolate while others show full-spectrum extract. Also, the company claims to test for heavy metals, pesticides, microbial contaminants, and residual solvents, but these tests are not available.
These CBD drink mixes are meant to help with three specific areas: relaxation (Calm mix), exercise recovery (Soothe mix), and immunity & energy (Wellness mix). These applications are highly specific — but we feel the dose of CBD is too low to do everything these drink mixes claim for the average user. We recommend combining these drink mixes with other forms of CBD.
There are three different variations of the Aceso CBD drink mixes (Calm, Soothe, and Wellness), which is a pretty good selection compared with other companies offering similar products.
Aceso’s drink mixes use innovative formulas that combine CBD with other plant-based ingredients meant for specific benefits, such as lavender and passionflower for Calm, green tea and vitamins for Wellness, and turmeric and cinnamon for Soothe.
Although the dose of CBD is on the low-end of the spectrum, these products are well-formulated for each application.
These days, almost every CBD company offers tinctures, vape oils, capsules, and gummies. As such, with CBD’s growing popularity, many brands are trying to create new and innovative ways to deliver your daily dose.
Aceso is one such brand exploring new niches in the CBD industry. Currently, its product lineup consists of CBD sprays, tablets, and drink mixes.
This review will focus on the CBD drink mixes from Aceso to see how they stack up against those from the competition. They’re innovative, but are they worth your money? Read our thoughts below.
Aceso’s drink mixes combine CBD with other plant-based ingredients and come in three varieties:
Although Aceso claims these products are made with broad-spectrum CBD extract, their third-party lab tests show inconsistent results: the Wellness and Soothe mixes contain full-spectrum CBD extract, while the Calm mix contains only CBD and nothing else.
Each mix comes in a packet with 10 mg of CBD. These packets are meant to be mixed in water.
The drink mixes are available in packs of 5 or 30, for $10 or $50, respectively.

If you’re tired of tinctures, capsules, gummies, vape oils, and topicals, or simply want to try something new, Aceso’s CBD drink mix is a unique product rarely seen in other companies’ lineups.
All you need to do is pour one packet into a glass of water, stir, and drink. Many other methods of CBD consumption require measurements, have inconsistent doses, or require you to follow specific instructions.
Aceso offers three different drink mix formulas with specialized ingredients for specific needs: the relaxing Calm formula, the immunity and energy-boosting Wellness formula, and the exercise recovery Soothe formula.
Aceso is one of the more unique companies we’ve come across in our research. Named after the Greek goddess of wellness, the brand doesn’t offer any of the usual CBD products you might expect, such as tinctures, capsules, gummies, vape oils, or concentrates.
Instead, Aceso has focused on novel applications of CBD, including sprays, tablets, and drink mixes.
Unfortunately, Aceso’s innovative products seem to be mostly flash with little substance because the company provides misleading and incomplete information about their hemp source, type of CBD extract, and third-party testing.
If you’re looking for a more exciting and pleasant way to consume CBD, drink mixes provide a tasty way to get your daily dose. In particular, these mixes are meant for three specialized uses:
However, at 10 mg of CBD per packet, this product should only be used by people looking to get the general health benefits of CBD or beginners who are unsure of their CBD requirements.
These drink mixes have a higher-than-average price per mg CBD ($0.20 – $0.17), but still maintain a decent value when we consider their unique, convenient form.
Product Image | Product Name | Total CBD | Cost | Cost per mg CBD |
Calm Drink Mix (5 pack) | 50 mg | $10.00 | $0.20
Calm Drink Mix (30 pack) | 300 mg | $50.00 | $0.17
Wellness Drink Mix (5 pack) | 50 mg | $10.00 | $0.20
Wellness Drink Mix (30 pack) | 300 mg | $50.00 | $0.17
Soothe Drink Mix (5 pack) | 50 mg | $10.00 | $0.20
Soothe Drink Mix (30 pack) | 300 mg | $50.00 | $0.17 |
At only 10 mg of CBD per serving, this is a low-potency product. These mixes should, therefore, be used as a way to get a head start on your daily CBD intake rather than a primary source of CBD.
You’ll likely need to use this product in combination with a tincture, capsule, vape oil, or concentrate, especially when we consider the low absorption of oral CBD preparations.
Product Name | Total CBD | CBD Concentration (per packet) | Potency Level |
Hemp Drink Mix (5 pack) | 50 mg | 10 mg | Low |
Hemp Drink Mix (30 pack) | 300 mg | 10 mg | Low |
Aceso says that it sources its hemp from American farms, but there is no clear statement about its hemp source. It also claims to use broad-spectrum hemp extract, but its own third-party tests disprove this, with two drink mixes containing full-spectrum extract, and one containing only CBD.
The company also says its products are tested for pesticides, heavy metals, and other contaminants, but there are no documents to prove this.
Aceso’s hemp drink mixes have unique formulas that combine CBD with other plant-based ingredients to provide specific health benefits.
The main issue with these formulas is the relatively low CBD concentration of 10 mg. In addition, while Aceso claims to use broad-spectrum CBD, third-party testing shows that the mixes contain full-spectrum or isolated CBD.
Product Image | Product Name | Ingredients | Benefits |
Calm Hemp Drink Mix | CBD, linalool (lavender), limonene (grapefruit), passionflower | Reduces anxiety, improves mood
Wellness Hemp Drink Mix | CBD, vitamins, limonene (lemon oil), capsaicin (cayenne pepper), catechins (green tea) | Boosts immunity and energy
Soothe Hemp Drink Mix | CBD, cinnamon, bromelain (pineapple), tart cherry, curcumin (turmeric), glucosamine | Reduces inflammation, supports joint health |
These drink mixes are made for people looking for a quick way to get a boost of CBD in an easy-to-take, pleasant form. They have the additional goal of helping with a specific health issue, such as promoting relaxation, boosting overall wellness, and improving workout recovery.
Unfortunately, they don’t contain enough CBD to offer a significant benefit.
These drink mixes are available in three different varieties (Calm, Soothe, and Wellness) and two packet quantities: 5-pack and 30-pack.
Aceso ships throughout the United States. The company offers full refunds for products returned within 30 days of purchase and also provides paid return shipping labels.
Aceso has entered a niche area in the CBD industry that many other companies haven’t explored. Also, we like their specialized formulas with additional ingredients meant for specific benefits.
However, an interesting CBD product isn’t enough to justify handing over your hard-earned cash.
Unfortunately, Aceso’s CBD drink mixes are low-potency, more expensive than other proven products currently available on the market, and come from a brand that doesn’t inspire much trust.
Without drinking several packets a day, it’ll be difficult for most people to get enough CBD to have a significant health benefit, especially when we consider the poor absorption of oral CBD. While the addition of other ingredients helps make up for the low CBD potency, it’s still not enough.
In addition, the cost per mg of CBD for these mixes is between $0.20 and $0.17, which is high when compared with proven and more efficient ways of consuming CBD.
Aceso claims to use broad-spectrum CBD extract, but their own third-party tests show the presence of full-spectrum CBD extract or isolated CBD. They also claim to test for pesticides and other contaminants, but these tests are not available on their website.
Finally, the company doesn’t provide clear information about their hemp source except mentioning that it’s American. Taken together, this makes us doubt the company’s trustworthiness.
Ultimately, while we respect Aceso’s innovation with their CBD drink mixes, the company and the product itself are simply not up to standard.
