CBD capsules are an industry staple — you have the convenience of pre-measured doses, consistent results, and they’re cost-effective.
Organabus’ Broad-Spectrum CBD capsules miss the mark in our review due to the company’s complete lack of transparency across the board and unhelpful customer service team.
When we calculate the cost per mg of CBD, it matches the average price on the market at $0.08 to $0.09 per mg — however, this product is below-average in almost all categories. There’s a lot of information missing from this company for us to justify this price point. We don’t recommend this product.
Each capsule is said to contain 25 mg of CBD, which is medium-potency for a capsule. Without a Certificate of Analysis (CoA), we’re not certain of its true potency.
Organabus’ tag line is “Organic CBD Made From Industrial Grown Hemp,” but we don’t have any way to verify this. There’s no location listed for its hemp source, no organic certifications, or third-party lab tests to show the final products are free from harmful contaminants.
These capsules have no clear purpose other than to provide a generalized dose of CBD. At 25 mg per capsule, this is a reasonable dose for most people.
Organabus would have scored higher if they formulated this product for a specific purpose — or included a n ingredients list for that matter.
You can find these capsules in 6 or 30-count packages.
As far as we know, these capsules contain CBD extract and hemp seed oil. We’re not sure what extract type is used (full-spectrum or CBD isolate) or what the gel capsules are made of. Organabus doesn’t offer enough information on this product to give them any higher rating in this category.
Organabus is based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The brand has been around since 2010, and its best known for its vapor liquids.
In our lens, Organabus is one of the best examples of a company’s lack of transparency in the highly unregulated CBD industry.
Organabus gets part of its name from the word ‘organic’ and claims its products are made with organic hemp crops — however, there is no proof to back this up in organic certifications or third-party lab tests.
This is problematic because there’s nothing stopping companies from producing CBD products made with low-grade hemp or worse — hemp grown in contaminated fields and sprayed with pesticides.
Because hemp is a bioaccumulator, it absorbs the compounds and minerals in its environment faster than it can break them down. If the company has a questionable hemp source, contaminants may end up in the final product leading to more harm than good.
While certifications and third-party lab testing are not mandatory, reputable CBD brands are getting them done to show their customers they’re committed to transparency and quality manufacturing practices.
Capsules are a CBD product staple. People like them because there’s no fuss — they’re pre-measured, easy to travel with, tasteless, and deliver reliable results.
Formulas such as the one offered by Organabus don’t have a specific use and are taken for alleviating many different symptoms ranging from anxiety, migraines, insomnia, stress, inflammation, and pain.
Capsules come in a variety of potencies, so you can find a potency that best matches your CBD dosing requirements.
We’re not willing to recommend Organabus’ CBD capsules because we’re not entirely sure what’s in the package without a Certificate of Analysis (CoA) to verify the hemp extract potency, cannabinoid profile, and purity.
Organabus’ CBD capsules are priced at $12.99 and $59.99 for which you’ll receive a total of 150 and 750 mg of CBD respectively. Both options have a potency of 25 mg/capsule.
Breaking down these costs, we’re left with roughly $0.08 – $0.09 per mg of CBD, which is within the average price for CBD capsules on the market.
As we’ve mentioned earlier, we’re not sure what’s contained in these capsules. We’ve come across companies that provided CoA of their products (reluctantly) that showed less CBD than the advertised amount. We’ve reached out to the Organabus team for CoA, but they never got back to us.
Because there’s no way to gauge the hemp quality or verify the capsules’ CBD potency, we don’t think the price is justified here — especially when you can go to another company for the same product and price point with a CoA.
Product Name | Total Price | Total CBD Content | Cost per mg CBD |

Is a 25 mg potency right for you?
CBD dosing is a personal affair and is dependent on a number of factors such as your experience with CBD, your age, weight, and symptoms you’re looking to treat.
25 mg is a fairly common medium-potency option. You can easily find it with other brands. We want to reiterate that without a CoA for these capsules, we can’t be sure of its true potency, as mislabelling is frequent in this industry.
Product Name | Total CBD Content | Capsules | CBD Per Capsule |

Organabus doesn’t list any information regarding its hemp source. Although the company’s name and tagline suggest the use of organic hemp, there are no certifications to back these claims.
The lack of third-party testing and organic certifications is problematic — we’re not sure about its hemp quality, nor do we know if there are contaminants present in the final product.

These CBD capsules don’t include any instructions of use or dosing information. In general, CBD capsules have a long list of benefits and are a reliable way to get your daily dose of CBD.
CBD interacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system, which is responsible for maintaining homeostasis (balance) of other vital systems. Because of this, CBD provides broad-acting effects. For more targeted use, companies will sometimes combine other supplements with CBD for a more specialized product such as sleep aids, joint support, pain relief, or relaxation.
From the product description, it says these capsules contain CBD extract and hemp seed oil — a classic capsule combination. Organabus could benefit in expanding on its product descriptions, as there’s no indication if these capsules were made using a full-spectrum extract or a CBD isolate.
We’re also interested in knowing what the capsules are made from — whether they are gelatin-based or vegan-friendly is vital information for those with allergies and dietary restrictions.
The Organabus CBD capsules are only offered in this six-pack with 25 mg of CBD in each. This offering might make sense as a trial pack before you commit to purchasing a larger supply, but there are no other CBD capsule options available.
If you live in the United States, Organabus offers a $5 flat shipping rate. International shipping is also available, but the cost is dependent on the destination.
I couldn’t find a return policy on the Organabus website, so I emailed customer service. The customer service rep informed me that Organabus does not accept returns, but they are willing to make special exceptions for exchanges.
We don’t recommend purchasing Organabus’ CBD capsules due to the lack of transparency.
There are several problems with this product:
Since CBD capsules are a staple in the industry, there’s no shortage of quality products on the market. We highly recommend Bluebird Botanicals hemp CBD capsules and Royal CBD capsules. These two companies take pride in transparency and deliver high-quality capsules at fair prices.
