CbdMD uses organic hemp sourced from both Kentucky and Colorado. Colorado is known for its excellent cultivation standards and low pollution levels.
Unfortunately, we can’t give cbdMD full points in this category until they start buying their hemp from certified organic hemp farmers.
cbdMD offers a wide range of different products types. They have CBD oils of different strengths, pet products, capsules, gummies, and even bath bombs.
Everything the company does, they do with intention — many of the products this company offers has made it onto our “best of” lists for this very reason.
This company specializes in using a broad-spectrum hemp extract to manufacture all of its products. It works by extracting pure CBD from the hemp plant and recombining it with a proprietary blend of hemp terpenes, and other non-psychoactive cannabinoids. This provides the benefit of a full-spectrum extract without regisstering any traceable amounts of THC in the final product.
Although this is not a new idea, cbdMD uses a formula that offers the closest effects we’ve seen to a true full-spectrum product without actually using a full-spectrum extract. This offers major advantages.
The company also offers some more niche product types — going above and beyond the industry standards for the types of CBD products they have available.
cbdMD has clear guidelines on how to use their product as well as some general information about CBD and how it affects the body. cbdMD is one of the largest American CBD companies. They sell products spanning virtually all categories of products — from tinctures, capsules, gummies, and topicals. The companies large size brings several advantages — including lower prices, better leverage sourcing premium hemp crops, and the ability to contribute to research and lead innovation. cbdMD ticks all of these boxes.
Recently, cbdMD signed a sponsorship agreement with one of the top MMA fighting championships in the world —Bellator MMA. This gives the company full access to advertise at these events, and even sell its products to attending fans.
We’re excited about this sponsorship, as it gives the company reason to develop new athletic-inspired CBD products — which many of us at Daily CBD have a particular interest in.
Like other CBD companies, cbdMD uses its own proprietary broad-spectrum hemp extract to manufacture its products. This involves extracting and isolating the various cannabinoids and terpenes from hemp — and recombining them in a predictable ratio.
cbdMD sources its hemp from farms located in Kentucky and Colorado — two states well-known for producing high-quality hemp. There’s a strong community of hemp farmers in these states that work together, sharing ideas and techniques to produce some of the best hemp in the world. The climate in these states is perfect for hemp cultivation as well — making it easier for farmers to avoid having to use synthetic additives and pesticides to keep their crops happy.
As a large company, it’s hard for cbdMD to provide specific details about where each batch of hemp extract comes from — but the fact that the company processes these plants into a broad-spectrum CBD extract anyway makes this information slightly less important.
What’s important is the third-party lab tests indicating an absence of contaminants like heavy metals, pesticides, or solvents — which cbdMD provides publically on the company website.
We browsed through a few of these tests and were unable to find anything that indicated an issue with quality.

If your pup needs some help managing pain or anxiety this is the most efficient way to get them the relief they deserve. This product is the same as cbdMD hemp oils for humans but comes in lower potencies which are more suitable for pets.
