These products are only available in Europe. The company has a separate shop for its American customers — but at this time only basic CBD oil and CBD oil + melatonin is available. These isolate crystals need to be bought from Nordic Oil’s UK, German, Italian, or Norwegian storefronts.
Since the company sells different products on two continents, it also has two separate hemp sources. Nordic Oil’s American products are made from organic, non-GMO hemp grown in Irwin, California and the European products come from a local European source.

Like all CBD isolate powders, Nordic Oil’s crystals are the purest form of CBD available. They contain 98.6% pure CBD, while the remaining 0.4% is cannabidivarin (CBDV), another non-psychoactive cannabinoid. This means there’s a total of 986 mg of pure CBD in this 1-gram product.

This CBD isolate powder is made from organic, non-GMO hemp grown in Europe. The crystals are also tested by a third-party laboratory to make sure they contain zero THC and high CBD levels.
The only problem we have with the hemp is a lack of contamination testing. While we’re confident the company does this testing, we have yet to see a recent test to prove the hemp the company is using is as clean as possible. Even small amounts of heavy metal contamination can cause problems.
We’d also like to see Nordic Oil source its hemp from certified organic farms in both Europe and North America in the near future.
Purpose/Uses
CBD crystals are versatile in how they can be used. A lot of people will add them to a dab rig, into a bottle of e-liquid, mixed with oil to make a DIY CBD oil, or in cosmetics.
You can also take CBD crystals directly in the mouth the same as you would a CBD oil.
However, the therapeutic applications of CBD isolate are limited. We much prefer products that contain a combination of other herbs or supplements alongside CBD to make it more specific for a given application.
For example, Nordic Oil also offers CBD and curcumin oil — which is significantly more reliable for supporting pain and inflammation than a simple CBD product because the two herbs work synergistically together to achieve these results.

Like any proper crystallized CBD isolate powder, this product contains over 98.6% CBD isolate. Meanwhile, the remaining 0.4% is taken up by cannabidivarin (CBDV), another beneficial cannabinoid that doesn’t have any intoxicating effects.
We can’t give any grief to this formula because CBD isolate is meant to be a purified product by definition. In that sense, this formula couldn’t be better.
