Long story short, this is one of our top-rated supplements for supporting sleep. We recommend keeping a bottle of this stuff around for those nights spent tossing and turning or taking it along on international trips where jetlag is likely to be a problem.

One of the best factors that make Medterra stand out above the competition is its hemp source.
Medterra plays a big role in the cultivation of the hemp used in its products by owning and operating a series of farms in Kentucky, USA. This allows them to be a true “seed to bottle” manufacturer — It can oversee the entire process from growing, to extraction, to bottling.
This allows the company to keep tight control over the quality of its products.
This is contrasted by most of the other CBD manufacturers on the market that buys their hemp from outside farms. This works fine in most cases but makes it difficult for the company to control what happens to the hemp before it ends up in their labs.
The only area we believe Medterra could improve its hemp source even further is through obtaining USDA certified organic status — something that’s only recently become a real possibility thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill.
We can’t give the company too much flack for this because almost nobody in the United States has actually achieved certified organic status to date — but we hope to see Medterra achieve this in the near future to make its hemp truly bulletproof in terms of quality in our books.

Medterra ships internationally — at a cost. Depending on where you are in the world, you’ll likely have to pay an additional shipping fee to have these products shipped from the United States.
However, these supplements are small, and the rates are seldom more than $15 per order.
Keep in mind that this formula contains melatonin, which is considered prescription-only in countries like Australia and New Zealand. We don’t recommend ordering these products if you live in either of these countries, as Medterra won’t provide a refund for orders confiscated at the border.
Additionally, if you live in Canada, you won’t be able to order anything from this company either. The Canadian government recently legalized cannabis but keeps tight control over the sale of oral supplements.
