Flav’s CBD Bath Bomb retails for $11.99 and adds a little bit of spice to the CBD industry. With this lavender-scented bath bomb, you can enjoy a relaxing bath at the end of a long week. It’s not recommended as a remedial product with only 25 mg of CBD per bath bomb — but rather as a fun alternative to CBD ingestion every once in a while.
Flav’s bath bomb retails for $11.99 each with only 25 mg of CBD. This breaks down to roughly $0.48/mg of CBD, which is fairly steep among other CBD bath bombs on the market that ranges between $0.09 – $0.35 per mg. Bath bombs are generally more costly as a novelty, luxury product. It’s not intended to be used as a daily CBD supplement, rather a product to make bath time a more relaxing experience.
This bath bomb has a very low potency of 25 mg. Even for a bath bomb, this is on the lower of the potency scale. This won’t have any remedial benefits at this low of a concentration in a bath, but it may add to the relaxing bathing experience.
Flav, in general, is a bit of a mystery. Its website doesn’t list a hemp source anywhere, and there’s limited information we could find about this brand on the web. We’ve emailed Flav (multiple times) for more information about its products, but we’ve never received a reply. There’s no hemp source mention, and we’re not surprised at the lack of third-party lab results.
At $11.99 per bath bomb, this isn’t something we expect anyone to use daily. With only 25 mg of CBD, we don’t see any therapeutic effects CBD could have in a product that dilutes in bathwater. This bath bomb is for a luxury bathing experience to help with relaxation. It includes lavender essential oil for aromatherapy, often used as a sleep aid and de-stressor.
There is only one bath bomb option available here with Flav. This product could stand to benefit with more scent variations and potencies.
Flav hasn’t provided a comprehensive list of ingredients for the CBD Bath Bomb. However, Flav does say that the bomb contains lavender essential oil. If you have sensitive skin, we don’t recommend this product because we’re not sure of what it contains.
Flav brings something novel to the CBD industry with its CBD Bath Bomb. It’s not a conventional CBD product by any means. But did you know that herbs and therapeutic substances have been added to baths for centuries to cure weariness, fatigue, and melancholy?
Perhaps Flav had this in mind with this CBD Bath Bomb. While it might not be the best option for acute or chronic conditions, this CBD Bath Bomb might be a fun nightcap every once in a while.
In this review, we break down Flav’s CBD Bath Bomb, and who might be best suited for this product.
Flav’s CBD Bath Bomb is a novelty CBD product for someone who wants to experience a new way to enjoy CBD. It’s made for unwinding and relaxing, which is further demonstrated by Flav’s addition of lavender essential oil to the bath bomb.
Flav’s Bath Bomb isn’t cheap ($11.99 for a single bomb), but it is a novelty product after all. It’s not the most efficient way to get a therapeutic dose of CBD, but it is still a relaxing way to enjoy CBD nonetheless. Plus, it encourages more bath time!
The human skin contains CB1 and CB2 endocannabinoid receptors in practically all cell types of the skin. There might be some logic to spending an evening submerged in cannabinoids, even if the concentration isn’t very high.

A CBD bath bomb isn’t something everybody comes across during their general CBD shopping experience. Bath bombs are somewhat experimental. It makes for a unique gift for a CBD enthusiast who might enjoy mixing up the different ways to use CBD
Flav’s CBD Bath Bomb is for unwinding, and Flav has complemented the effect of CBD with lavender essential oil. Lavender is well known for its carminative effect, especially to aid in sleep. Perhaps this bath bomb makes for the perfect nightcap.
Flav is secretive about its origins and manufacturing process. The company outlines in detail the process of CO2 extraction on the “Learn” page, as well as its compliance with federal and state law. However, Flav doesn’t provide any Certificate of Analysis (CoA) to support this, so it’s not clear what the growing standards or manufacturing practices are like.
The company’s “About” page won’t enlighten you any further, either. There’s no backstory, information about who owns and operates the company, or even where the head office is. At first glance, Flav looks like a dropshipping eCommerce store.
Dropshipping eCommerce stores typically have stock in various locations. They are not usually manufacturers of the product. When a person makes an order, it’s shipped from a warehouse, and the eCommerce store provides a web platform through which a person can buy. Naturally, this isn’t ideal for CBD customers, as CBD customers generally like to know a little bit about the source of their CBD products.
There’s not much to be learned about the company anywhere else on the world wide web. Flav has an Instagram page, but it’s home to only 54 stock images from the website. Other than that, there’s no YouTube, or Facebook marketing, or even any reviews online aside from the comments left on the Flav website.
We emailed Flav multiple times, asking for more information about the company, including its hemp source, third-party lab testing, or certification to support its claims about being organic. We never heard back from them.
Those who like to take baths, of course!
As mentioned earlier, this CBD Bath Bomb isn’t necessarily the way to deal with acute inflammation or pain. But it may be a perfect adjunct therapy for someone who has difficulty sleeping, has some aches, or is a little bit anxious. A bath, along with CBD and lavender essential oils is a perfect recipe for relaxation.
Cannabinoids are not water-soluble (unless they are exposed to nanotechnology), so it’s not clear to what degree the cannabinoids will move through the skin while in the bath. For that reason, this product isn’t recommended for therapeutic work. Instead, it’s appropriate for relaxation and winding down.
The price for the CBD Bath Bomb seems expensive, especially considering the low CBD concentration. However, customers are urged to remember that this is a novelty CBD product, and doesn’t necessarily follow the same pricing paradigm as other CBD products.

Again, this product is not designed for therapeutic use and therefore, doesn’t contain a therapeutic dose of CBD. The potency of the CBD Bath Bomb should not be compared to CBD products intended for therapeutic use.

Flav has a reputation for omitting vital information from its product descriptions. This includes the hemp source. Nowhere on the company’s website is a reference made to where the company sources its hemp.
Flav also omits a CoA from its website. The CoA is more pertinent for the company’s ingestible CBD products, as ingested or inhaled contaminants can be harmful to the human body. Nonetheless, we think it’s vital for companies to provide this document to assure customers of quality and safety.
Flav claims to use “100% organic, lab-tested cannabis” to manufacture its CBD products but provides no supporting information or documentation. We, therefore, can’t comment on whether the product is organic or not.
Flav makes it clear that the purpose of this product is to unwind in the bathtub. It’s made for enjoying a bubble bath with a glass of red and Marvin Gaye in the background.
Flav complements the CBD component of the bath bomb with lavender essential oil, encouraging relaxation and downtime.
This product is not intended to be used therapeutically or to treat chronic conditions. The effects may only be general and probably affect mood more than it affects physiological processes.
Unfortunately, Flav doesn’t provide a comprehensive list of ingredients for the CBD Bath Bomb.
The company does advise that the product contains lavender essential oil. While the ingredient list isn’t tremendously important for the CBD Bath Bomb, it is increasingly important for all of Flav’s other products. And the ingredient list is something that Flav omits often.
For most people, the Flav Bath Bomb will be fine. However, those prone to contact dermatitis or skin allergies should be mindful, as there is no comprehensive list of ingredients.
Flav’s products can only be shipped locally, within the USA, at a flat rate of $6.95. On orders over $75, customers can enjoy free shipping.
Returns are only accepted for unopened products within seven days of receiving the item. No other returns are accepted. This must be done through the customer service team, which has been highly unresponsive to us. We anticipate some problems trying to return a product to Flav.
Well, the CBD Bath Bomb is for winding down and having fun!
It’s not intended for therapeutic CBD use, but that doesn’t mean it’s not relaxing for somebody who enjoys using CBD. Bath bombs are a fun way to enjoy CBD from time to time, and the price tag is suitable for a one-off experience — but there are more affordable options on the market.
