CBD For Life’s CBD Infused Bath Bombs may look appealing at first but pack too little CBD to provide any notable benefits. They’re available in four different formulations — Lemongrass Kiwi, Pink Salt & Citrus, Fresh Bamboo, and Eucalyptus & Peppermint, each with its own colors and scents.
Priced at $12, each bath bomb contains just 35 mg of CBD, which won’t get you far considering it’s dispersed in gallons of water. Another reason we’re not the biggest fans of this product is the lack of publicly-available third-party tests and an inconsistent CBD concentration which doesn’t match the advertised content.
There are better CBD bath bombs on the market and you’ll even get better value out of regular ones.
At $0.34 per mg of CBD, these bath bombs are not too expensive but not cheap either. Other brands can offer significantly more CBD for a similar price tag.
CBD For Life’s CBD Infused Bath Bombs contain 35 mg of CBD which is relatively low for a bath bomb. Because CBD is fat-soluble and bath bombs are diluted in bath water, a higher CBD content is needed to take advantage of CBD’s benefits. As a general note, we recommend bath bombs with about 100 mg CBD for noticeable benefits.
CBD For Life sources its hemp from a Colorado farm, which is said to use organic and sustainable farming practices, including USDA-certified organic soil. However, no certifications are provided to back these claims.
Although the company did provide third-party potency test results, these were not posted publicly and had to be requested by email. Also, there were no test reports for pesticides, heavy metals, and other contaminants.
CBD Infused Bath Bombs are marketed as a luxurious way to relax the body and mind. Unfortunately, the amount of CBD in this product is too low to provide any significant benefits, even if the other ingredients have some positive effects.
Although CBD For Life’s CBD Infused Bath Bombs are available in one CBD strength, they can be purchased in four different formulations. These variations provide different potential benefits, colors, and scents. Additionally, there’s the option to purchase all four variations together in a combo pack for a reduced price.
The non-CBD ingredients of these bath bombs, such as epsom salt, herbs, and essential oils, may be beneficial to your skin and body. Unfortunately, the most important ingredient — CBD — is present in too small of a quantity to contribute any notable beneficial effects.
A warm bath is a great way to relax after a long day, but hot water alone can only provide so many benefits — which is where bath bombs come in.
Bath bombs are a popular product used to add scents, color, bubbles, and potential skin and body benefits such as relaxation and pain relief. Some companies have begun to add CBD to bath bombs to contribute its anti-inflammatory and other topical benefits.
In this article, we’ll be reviewing CBD For Life’s CBD-Infused Bath Bombs and explain why we don’t think they’re worth the dip.
CBD For Life’s CBD Infused Bath Bombs carry 35 mg of CBD. These bath bombs are made with a coconut oil base and other common ingredients such as epsom salt, essential oils, and baking soda. They come in four formulations with different ingredients and scents:
It’s important to note that you won’t be absorbing all of the CBD from bath bombs due to its dispersion in water and the fact that CBD is hydrophobic (repels water).
As such, lower potency options (less than 100 mg) may not contain enough CBD to provide the level of effect you’re looking for — especially for sore muscles or joints.
These bath bombs retail for $12, or $42 for a pack of all four varieties.
Low CBD potency is a common theme in CBD For Life’s products. Let’s get into the details of why we don’t think CBD offers much as part of this product.

CBD For Life’s CBD Infused Bath Bombs come in four different formulations. Each formulation provides its own benefits and comes with unique colors and scents, which is important for a relaxing, fragrant product such as bath bombs.
Soaking in a warm bath with essential oils, epsom salt, and other bath bomb ingredients may help foster physical and mental relaxation.
Coconut oil, along with other essential oils, may help moisturize the skin.
Proudly woman-owned and operated, CBD For Life was founded in 2015 by Beth Stavola and Julie Winter. The company is headquartered in New Jersey, also home to the brand’s production facilities.
CBD For Life places emphasis on producing “highly innovative, natural, luxurious, and effective Cannabidiol (CBD) infused pain management and beauty products.” These products include tinctures, cleansers, rubs, sprays, moisturizers, and bath bombs.
Unfortunately, the company does not make it’s third-party test results public and the amount of CBD present in its beauty products is unlikely to offer many benefits.
CBD For Life’s CBD Infused Bath Bombs provides a luxurious way of incorporating CBD into your self-care regimen. While it won’t work as your main source of CBD, infused bath bombs may potentially help you relax, relieve soreness, and offer anti-inflammatory and other skin benefits.
The only issue is that we don’t think these bath bombs contain enough CBD.
These CBD Bath Bombs are priced at $12 and carry 35 mg of CBD isolate. When breaking down these costs we’re left with $0.34 per mg of CBD.
Alternatively, CBD For Life offers all four formulations in a combo pack for $42, which slightly lowers the price down to $0.30 per mg of CBD.
Considering that bombs are a luxury item, this cost is about average: not too high, but not that cheap either.

CBD Bath Bomb Lemongrass Kiwi | $12.00 | 35 mg | $0.34
CBD Bath Bomb Pink Salt & Citrus | $12.00 | 35 mg | $0.34
CBD Bath Bomb Fresh Bamboo | $12.00 | 35 mg | $0.34
CBD Bath Bomb Eucalyptus & Peppermint | $12.00 | 35 mg | $0.34

CBD For Life’s Bath Bombs contain 35 mg of CBD. This may seem high at first, but we have to remember bath bombs end up getting dispersed in a large amount of water.
Coupled with the fact that CBD may be difficult to absorb in water because it’s hydrophobic, this means 35 mg is fairly low.
Interestingly, the company’s third-party tests show that their bath bombs contain more CBD than advertised:
It seems CBD For Life has trouble keeping its formulas consistent, but it’s better to get more out of your money than less. However, even if your product happens to contain more CBD, 40-50 mg is still not that high for bath bombs.
Product Image | Product Name | Total CBD Content | CBD Concentration (mg/g) | Potency Level |
CBD Bath Bomb Lemongrass Kiwi | 35 mg | 0.22 mg/g | Low
CBD Bath Bomb Pink Salt & Citrus | 35 mg | 0.22 mg/g | Low
CBD Bath Bomb Fresh Bamboo | 35 mg | 0.22 mg/g | Low
CBD Bath Bomb Eucalyptus & Peppermint | 35 mg | 0.22 mg/g | Low

CBD For Life claims that its hemp is sourced from a Colorado farm using organic and sustainable farming practices — although, there are no certifications available to back these claims.
Also, third-party test results can’t be viewed on the company’s website but were provided upon request. Unfortunately, these third-party tests only cover potency, and don’t include pesticides, heavy metals, and other contaminants.
CBD Bath Bombs provide virtually the same benefits as regular bath bombs: a means of whole-body relaxation while soothing and moisturizing the skin. Unfortunately, this product doesn’t fully meet this purpose because the amount of CBD present is too small to offer significant benefits.
For reference, we recommend trying a CBD infused bath bomb with at least 100 mg of CBD to experience significant benefits.
CBD For Life’s CBD Infused Bath Bombs are formulated with a >99% pure CBD isolate, minerals, and essential oils. Unfortunately, the amount of CBD present is too low to do much for your skin, muscles, or joints.
However, other ingredients may provide some benefits. The Lemongrass Kiwi variant is recommended for reducing stress, relieving anxiety, and as an anti-inflammatory, but there’s a lack of evidence to back these claims.
Meanwhile, Pink Salt & Citrus contains shea butter, which is used as a natural remedy for relieving skin conditions including acne, dry and itchy skin, and eczema.
The next version — Fresh Bamboo — contains ylang-ylang oil, which may promote relaxation. Lastly, Eucalyptus & Peppermint variant contains peppermint and wintergreen oil, which may have pain-relieving properties.
Each CBD Infused Bath Bomb also contains a coconut oil base, which may help with skin conditions such as eczema and has moisturizing properties.
In sum, while the ingredients in these bath bombs may be beneficial, the amount of CBD present is simply not high enough.
CBD For Life’s CBD Infused Bath Bombs come in four different formulations, each with its own proposed benefits. You can also purchase a pack with all four variants together for a reduced price.
Product Image | Product Name | Color | Main Ingredients | Proposed Benefits |
CBD Bath Bomb Lemongrass Kiwi | Blue | Coconut oil, Hawaiian black salt | Anxiety relief, anti-inflammatory
CBD Bath Bomb Pink Salt & Citrus | Pink and yellow | Coconut oil, Shea butter, Himalayan pink salt | Help with eczema, inflammation, itchiness, and redness, moisturizing
CBD Bath Bomb Fresh Bamboo | Green and purple | Ylang ylang oil, Coconut oil | Promote relaxation, help with inflammation and symptoms of eczema and psoriasis

CBD For Life ships throughout the United States. The company offers a 30-day 100% satisfaction guarantee.
For returns, email requests must be addressed to info@cbdforlife.us with “Refund” in the subject line. In order to qualify for refunds, unused items must be sent back. Once approved, full refunds are issued minus shipping and handling costs.
We can’t recommend purchasing CBD For Life’s CBD Infused Bath Bombs. The potency is too low, the third-party lab results are lacking in detail, and the price is not that great.
Although the essential oils and minerals in this product may be beneficial, the spotlight should be on CBD.
With only 35 mg of CBD, these bath bombs won’t be an effective means of CBD application. Most of it will end up dispersed in the water and even if it reaches your skin, the amount will be too small to provide notable benefits.
Another issue is third-party tests. For starters, we had to ask the company to send them as they are not available on their website.
These tests showed a higher CBD content inconsistent with the product description. Although it’s nice to get more CBD than advertised, this highlights the company’s lack of care and puts their product quality in question.
Additionally, the provided third-party test results only cover potency. There’s no insight into possible contaminants such as pesticides or heavy metals.
In sum, we find it hard to put much trust in this product and CBD For Life as a company. Other companies offer bath bombs at a cheaper cost, which even if free of CBD, can arguably be just as effective.
For those in search of quality CBD infused bath bombs, we suggest going with cbdMD’s bath bombs instead.
